Recovery time after HT??

Ok let me explain my situation. I’m planning on having my HT in August in Belgium by Dr De Reys. I live in the U.K. and play in a rock band where at the moment gigs have been cancelled because pubs are shut. Dr De Reys has a slot available early August but if pubs open again and we are to start playing gigs I need to know if this is something I can do, say a week after a HT or do I have to wait longer. Also when is the earliest you can wear a hat after a HT

You could wear a loose bandana on your head, Axel Rose look but a full bandana. It will fit in with the rock band.

that’s sounds a good idea. Can that be worn straight away?? Or do you have to wait a certain length of time

Lots of clinics give out bandanas as head coverings to wear straight after surgery. You won`t want to be doing anything excessive though for the first few days, your head needs to be kept clean and not all sweaty etc.

It is wise to wait a few days after surgery before doing anything energetic or strenuous. Wearing loose head wear straight after surgery is ok but should not be left on if your head is getting hot and sweaty, your scalp needs to breathe and you have to keep it moist with the post surgery spray solution. No head banging allowed. What instrument do you play?

I play guitar and sing in a 3 piece covers band called “The Floating Greyhounds” Now is the perfect time for me to have a HT due to pubs not being allowed live music so it saves me cancelling gigs to have it done.
