That is looking very good for 5 months. You`ve experienced nice early growth.
Here`s a silly question. Are you happy with the progress?

Hi Bigmac, sorry I was just logging on to do an update and only just saw your message from June as I don’t have notifications on.

yes happy so far although when I discussed with Dr Tam, there was a small section above my left frontal that looked abit thin, but we both agreed to give it more time to see if it grows etc but otherwise happy with results so far. And Dr Tam is a great doctor and friend.
I’ll upload some recent pics he took.

Hi Vietn. It’s looking really good. That area you say is thin, I wouldn’t have noticed it without the hair being parted. I’d not be worried about it. It still has time to grow and mature. I’m sure you’ll be completely satisfied by 12 months.
Thanks for the update.

13 month update guys- stopped fin around summer 2021 due to sides, and by October hairs both native and some of the transplanted didn’t look as thick. so my personal opinion is that if one is going to have an op, if you can tolerate it then fin is a must. As the transplanted hair will start to look thin without it plus you need to maintain as much of your native hairs.

there were some small parts where once the graft fell out post procedure shed/ it didn’t regrow back so some didn’t survive. Although can barely notice it. Overall I’m happy with it!

But since last month, think I’ve got TE as I had a massive shed post covid/ vegan diet etc. The transplanted area under lighting looks a lot thinner due to the hairloss- so hopefully it’ll grow back in time.

Dr Tam has been great and is always helpful.

Hi Viet.
I think your hairline looks great. Dr Tam has created a nice natural hairline. It`s good to hear you’re happy and youve have good support from the doctor. As to COVID, it can effect hair and cause it to temporarily fall out due to the weakening of our immune system. I don’t know if the Vegan diet may have effected it. It should recover fairly quickly.
Thanks for providing an update.
All the best.
