Thanks for the update Ahmeda87.

I can only echo what Joe has written and I'd like to thank him for clarifying certain points raised as well as providing much-needed perspective on this case.

There is no doubt in my opinion that your result is a good one and it will continue to improve and mature up until the 15-month time point. Exposing a HT by parting the hair is a great way to monitor progress as Joe says, but it ultimately highlights the true density which is never going to compare and stand up to the density of native hair. My hair, for example, goes up to 115 FU/cm2 in certain areas where there is no miniaturisation, so even ultra-high dense packing goes nowhere near this......

Dr. Lupanzula will review your case at 12 months as agreed and we will then make a judgement on the final result collaboratively taking into account your opinion and by also revisiting initial goals.

It can be extremely risky asking opinions on future potential work as we are the only ones who are ultimately fully informed with your case and have the full background.

Thanks for giving your feedback.

Hi ahmeda87. Thanks for providing regular updates and for not panicking when someone jumped in (elsewhere) saying you need another transplant without realising what has been achieved so far with the number of grafts transplanted. Joe has made some good points which don`t need repeating.
It is good to hear you have plenty of grafts available in case you do need them in the future, many of us have more than one transplant.
I`ll be in London on the 4th, it would be nice to meet you if you want to chat with a fellow HT patient.

I’ll be popping in to see the doc and his team. It’ll be nice if we can meet while there. It’s always good to chat with fellow HT patients.

12 months: Overall massive improvement and happy considering it was only 2664 grafts to cover a large area. :D

Hard to tell but the hairline certainly needs a touch up. I spoke to the Dr and he also agreed that maybe 600 grafts. As for styling my hair up even with hair fibres looks a bit gappy/spare

HOWEVER, I can wear my hair forward without hair gel or hair fibres so that is a massive plus.

Hair is super long due to obvious reasons haha. Hopefully, barbers open up soon.

Hi ahmeda87
A lot has been achieved with the number of grafts you received, coverage wise, and naturalness is good but just a little lacking in the front middle of your hairline area.
Another 600 grafts should fill this area nicely.
