Thank you for commenting Janna - I've been following you since I started looking into hair transplants as I was going to use the Maitland Clinic which you helped establish before going back to America. You have a very good reputation in the industry and so its particularly comforting to get reassuring comments from you. With regards to Hattingen clinic I can only agree with you about the Dr's there.

I would like to thank you for commenting on this forum in the way you do - I have just been reading some posts from other people that haven't been so lucky as me and its really good that you and others members spend time reaching out as its heartbreaking for them and any form of input I'm sure will be of great assistance as they try to come to terms with it and what they can do about their situation.

Thank you so much for your kind words, appreciate it! I agree there are so many patients that end up with horrible results that are heartbreaking. Being on this side of the industry and for being part of it for so long, I have hardened a bit because I know so many who are not in the industry for the right reasons. It can definitely be overwhelming! Thanks again!

17.5 months photos post transplant, and 11 weeks since last haircut so quite overgrown now. Photos taken just after washed hair which i just comb into position and leave to dry naturally. Not a very sunny day so light and clarity not so great.
Have done a load of hairline closeups in the way May asked me to - hope these show what you want to see.

Thanks for providing so many pics. You're right, the wide angle shots are dark but the close up's have enough light and are clear.
The hair line is natural and you ended up with a great coverage.

Thank you Janna - I've just had a long overdue haircut and hoping to get time to do more photos and will wait for a brighter day to take them

Hattingen Clinic are in London doing consultations from next Friday 19th April to 21st April.

As you all know from my thread, my transplant was done with them and I've spoken very highly of them and from my own experience, and that I've seen others have, I would wholeheartedly recommend them above all other clinics.

If you read my thread from the beginning you will see why I rate them so highly – and most importantly they were the only clinic at consultation that gave me correct donor appraisal and advise me accurately what coverage they could give me and were able to do this size transplant (4500-5000 grafts) in one go. They also do both FUT and FUE transplants which not a lot of clinics do.

If you are interested in a transplant or repairs from an unsatisfactory transplant then contact them to arrange an appointment on [email protected]. I'm going to see them to assess my results and will post here any photos / videos taken.

Apologies for not posting since but I am still awaiting the photos / videos taken by Hattingen when they visited - I have chased them up but haven't for quite a while now due to combination of ill health and being very busy trying to catch up doing the work unable to do when laid up ill. I will chase them again when I'm able to in due course and post the photos / vids received. I will also post some recent photos of my hair now in a new more fashionable style.........

Many apologies to those of you that have asked for the photos / vids since my post in May - I didn't get notifications of the messages so I haven't been ignoring you. I am still awaiting the images from Hattingen, who i went to see again when they visited the UK a few months back, and so will have even more up to date images for you. I'm not uploading my photos as i have received comments regarding their lack of quality, whereas Hattingen use top notch equipment that really show the detail you'll want to see, so I will chase Hattingen again and post them on the forum as soon as I receive them...... until then to say that I'm still happy with the results and hope to be able to share the pics with you soon.
