6324 FUE. Dr. Lorenzo. Injertocapilar-Farjo.This patient is in his mid 30's and been on Finasteride for four yearsThis case was never really straightforward simply because the patient had very poor quality donor hair and fine in texture (48 microns )Two procedures were undertaken of 3223 FUE which yielded 7,322 hairs 2.28 hairs per graft and a 0.8mm punch was used. One year later a second procedure was carried out with 3101 FUE which gave us 6838 hairs 2.2 hairs per graft.with the 0.8mm punchMick

Mick, can you please comment on this. In the video, after shaving this patients head prior to second operation, there is a very noticeable red/purple tint to the treated recipient area in the scalp.

This is ofcourse long after the first operation but still the area is immunologically affected. Would you say this common, especially among light skinned europeans?

The result is just excellent. Yield seems great, no scar in the back. As it should be. The redness is only very noticeable shaved to the bone. With hair grown out it is nothing you think about I guess.

Jonzi,

Thanks for the feedback.

When you pass a hair clipper close to the scalp, it is normal to see some irritation, whether in the donor or recipient site.I forgot to mention in the summary that this patient has chronic dermatitis, rash and skin shedding that you can see in the forehead of the both pre post procedure photos.
