anyone use nettle root or saw palmetto instead of fin?

Im thinking of coming off fin after about 2 years of 1mg every other day.Ive noticed decreased libido over the last few months so want to give something more natural a try.

I know a lot of people use saw palmetto,but ive also been recommended nettle root powder,anyone use it that can comment?

I've recently changed my regimen due to a libido drop too.

I was on 1.25mg Fin every day. Now I do MWF and I was also taking Saw Palmetto but upon reading more saw that both are not recommended. About 6 weeks ago I stopped SP and replaced it with Nettle Root. Too early to really tell if anything has changed obviously.

I'm getting my HT in August and want to switch to 0.5mf Fin every day instead of the higher MWF dose, just to balance my hormones a bit more.

From your point of view, have you considered taking 0.5mg every day, or even every second day?

When I changed from daily to alternate, things definitely improved.

I do think that SP and Nettle though have the potential to be a relatively solid regimen in their own right.

Fin works some of the time on some of the head, therefore anything herbal will do next to nothing imo, if it worked there would be at least one pic online documenting this. Stick to do meds. If anything herbal did actually work it would become medicine.

Take fin eod is prob your best bet.

Hi, as BM says I was on Saw Palmetto for 3 years, at first was good and even saw hair growing in. I dropped to 450 mg as had sides on 900mg. Recently added Nettle Root and in combination it gave me some sides, so I've dropped Saw Palmetto to progress with Nettle Root only and will keep you updated in coming months but so far so good.

If you buy on Amazon be careful the tablets do not come from the USA as will cost a lot more and even happened to me from a UK supposed seller. I now buy powder and it really costs next to nothing compared to tablets.

Hi, hope you are well.

It was 3 years ago I dropped SP dosage due to sides. I went from 900mg to 450mg very fast. Friends are on 2000mg and no problem so maybe I am more sensitive, age, who knows. I added Nettle Root some 6 months ago as what interested me was how it worked regarding DHT, how it bound it and where, estrogen levels etc and that it worked differently to SP with regards to this and the link with SHBG (Sex Hormone Binding Globulin). Anyway, that is a very brief version and I will keep people updated.

I am excited by the options that today may work for people and keeping an eye on Keratene Retard also.

I was already on 1mg every other day as stated and have dropped to 1mg every 3rd day now.Im actually thinking of coming off it altogether so may just drop it gradually while sneaking in nettle root.Ill keep you posted with my progress.
