thanks guys...eventhough my 8 mths pic werent the most flattering i cant deny that there has been a constant and steady change in texture of hair i.e. its getting fuller.

so that gives hope for the upcoming months where more change is expected!

straight on view...improvement for sure but still a bit 'gappy' due to leftal region thinning i.e. loss of natural hairs

left...you can see what i mean by that 'left parting' look.

Hi Azza.

It looks to be filling in more and thickening up.

Still a way to go for you to evaluate the final result but its looking very promising now.

Your left lateral does look a little thin, maybe get a touch up after the final result.

I`m pleased to see you are still in good spirits as this has been a long journey for you.

Take care

Wow Azza---You look great. Sure there are still some think areas but things are definitely dramatically different than pre surgery and you now have a hairline that allows you to frame your face and give you a much more youthful appearance. Very cool. Thanks for the update.

at the 10 month mark, i can say that there has been an improvement. the texture and quality of my hair has somewhat improved and i can feel the change upon touching it.

there are various areas still maturing given that im still at the 10 month mark but overall things are good.

hairline. looking good but due to natural loss on left hand side, gives a slight gappy look

Hey Azza

Its looking like its all coming together now, maturing nicely as i can definately see that its denser and you are having more growth.

With this being your second surgery in that area the growth may be a little slower but its getting there.

Take care bm.

thanks for the words guys,

so is growth typically slower each time you have a HT then? because if that is the case then i wonder how much more i got to go

Yea growth can be slower in previous worked areas for a few reasons so hopefully you are going to have lots more.

believe it or not it is 1 yr post op- HT2.

overall there has been some improvement from HT1 as expected which is good but the continual loss of native hair really hasnt helped the cause somewhat. so the gains have equally been matched with the loss so the results are so-so at this moment in time.

i think i am going to call it a day in terms of HT for the time being...its been 2 years of my life that i shall never forget lol..with all the ups, downs and experiences i have been through in many different ways in terms of the HT.

anyhow i have attached pics for you to have a look. for those who think that the pics are somewhat misleading sue to light and/or quality, i apologise, i have moved out since i have started a masters degree at university so living in one of the accoms there and i tried to find the best lighting i could in my room :D. anyhow hope you can atleast get an idea of my result thus far.

az!

Hi Azza,

It is amazing how quickly time passes. I had to look at your pre-op pictures to appreciate the difference with your current pics. There is a big change even tho you are losing more native hairs, which I'm sorry to hear about. Hopefully with some products and hairstyle, you'll be able to pull off a good look. Thanks for the update. I like Dr. Rahal's work so it's been nice following your progress.

Azza,

I too have followed your progress and you really have come a long way. Unfortunately losing more native hair is a real possibility for many and I am sorry to hear about this with your situation. Nonetheless, you do look great. Keep us updated and stop in to say hi.

Azza, you have been very calm about your situation which is hard to do when you suffer from hairloss and especially after all you`ve been through.I wish i could be more positive for you but as you say the continued loss of your native hair has counter acted the transplanted hair.

Looking at your pictures you do seem to have more hair than pre any HTs.Maybe you could try PRP when we see more results and data.

I hope you still pop on the forum and let us know how you are and if you need any support etc.

Take care mate.
