Well Done Hair Doctor for helping. Luke you have my sympathy for having to deal with such a horrible operation the first time round. Just wandering what the most important piece of advice you would now give people thinking of having a hair transplant operation.

Hi everyone it’s been 6 months since my second op and I thought I’d give you an update on my results. Here are some pictures in direct natural light, wet hair and also just normal lighting, feeling really happy so far with another 6 months growth to come. I’m also having SMP on my donor area on Tuesday so I’ll be sure to keep you updated on that too.

Big difference when the picture is under bright natural light compared to normal lighting. I'd say the middle picture looks the best out of the three. When you look in the mirror which picture best depicts what you see?

It's looking much better Luke. The harsh bright light does not give a true reflection in pictures, often highlighting the scalp and not showing all the hairs.
Good to hear you're happy at the 6 month mark.
I hope the SMP went well today. It'll be great to see the pictures once it's settled down.

Hello Luke.
Sorry to hear about your experience.
I am glad your hair looks so much better now, huge transformation.
A good doctor in Turkey charges from 2 eur per graft, FYI.
Please do not get in traps (

How does a HT go wrong? What do they do wrong so in 12 months there is no growth/thin, like what happened to you in Turkey?

Lots of things can go wrong Alex. Maybe start a topic about it and receive some answers.

Hi Friend

read your story and to be honest with you it absolutely wells me up when I see what some of these so called HT Surgeons can do to someone , anyway its fantastic that Dr Arshad and his team are in the loop and taking care of you in all aspects of the repair , Looking at your pictures their at 6 Months great turnaround for you and the team

Hi guys, about to have my second smp treatment, the first one was very light and mild to see how it would react on the scars, I’ll update once the second treatment has had time to settle down

That is a lot of scars you have. Do they put a dot on each scar or colour them completely?

Good luck with the SMP. Hopefully it will help disguise those scars.

I never realized your scarring was this extensive. Many of the extractions must have been side by side enabling the adjacent scars to bond together and then create larger surface area scarring. Donor restocking into the larger scars with body grafts could work in conjunction with your smp treatments.

4 awesome repairs with SMG
Looks great that dude, you've probably mentioned it somewhere but I've forgot, who did the SMP? Just curious.....you've come such a long way and in doing so you've helped many others not make the same mistakes....good on ya pal.

Hey guys, wanted to give you an update as I’ve had 4 smp sessions now and it’s been 9 and a half months since my op in March. Here’s the pictures. The hair dr is doing the smp. There’s one pic of my hair line in direct light then two in inside lighting

Looks way better than the first hairline you were left with but the design from the first one is visible still with your hair still appearing on the thinner side. Another 3 months left for a final evaluation. You might need a further small session to add density.
The Smp has concealed some of the donor scars with a slight improved appearance but your donor has the typical square box look when overharvesting has taken place leaving you with a surrounding border of thicker hair that makes it difficult to blend in. A possible solution, thin these areas out with another Fue and use the grafts in your hairline.
