Booked in for my HT at with Dr Arshad - The Hair Dr 16th Feb (2000 grafts).

Looks good Greg, donor looks virtually untouched. I’m about 3 weeks ahead of you and the start of the shedding phase I’ve found more difficult than anything else with the HT, but having the photos from weeks 2/3 to show what the potential end result will look like is definitely a big help

It looks pretty good for 3 weeks post op. The donor looks to be improving with every update.

4 week mark! Ugly duckling stage underway.

Stopped using the shampoo that was prescribed by the Hair Dr as it was leaving my scalp, face, and neck blotchy after rinsing and now using caffeine shampoo. I'm also at the stage where I'm allowed to place my head under the shower head when washing - I'm still a little apprehensive to do so (something in the back of my head saying that it'll damage the grafts...even though I know it won't!). I'm still applying aloe gel overnight to reduce the pinkness in my temples.

Hopefully will see growth in the recipient areas sooner rather than later!

Looking great.

How has your experience been with the Hair Dr in terms of the after care at this 'week-4' stage? A lot of the comments on this forum tend to focus on the aftercare immediately post-op.

I send them weekly updates with photos attached. They are always on the other end of a message if I need any answers and they are very responsive.

Everything looks to be healing well at 4 weeks post op. Hopefully, the redness subsides soon and you get some early growth.
Thanks for the update.

Day 35. Redness seems to be subsiding now but to counter that the shedding has taken full force!

Good to hear the redness is subsiding. Your donor looks thin on the left side a little which could be a bit of shock loss that should recover as the healing continues.
It won’t be too long before everything is back to normal.

9 week mark - first haircut! Seeing some hair sprout through the temples now. Hoping for more noticeable growth over the next 4 weeks.

Donor looks really good especially the back there!! What grade/cut did you go down to?

Looking great all over @Greg_broadbent . Would not know you've had anything done at all! Do you have any pics of your donor back and sides before at the same grade as your latest photos? Before and after for example!

Thanks

Grade 2 - I usually get a skin fade, so it wouldn't be noticeable at all in normal circumstances!

Everything looks good. Your donor still looks like it`s improving on the left side where it shows possible shock loss. Other than that, it`s happy growing for you.

11 week mark.

Showing more signs of sprouting hairs in my temples. Seems to be more prominent on the right side when compared to the left. The feeling is also coming back on the top of my head.

Looks brilliant and the donor looks great too. Very reassuring for me having had a similar graft count. How long have you had the numbness for? You must be so excited with the sprouting starting just shy of 3 months.

Thanks! I've had numbness since the operation. It's an odd feeling when you itch a scratch on your scalp and you can't feel it haha! Yes, I am excited. Hopefully, the next 3 months will be like night and day!
