Day 10 3400 Grafts

Results after day 10 of my operation.

I had 2,400 grafts in the frontal and temple area, and another 1,000 grafts in the mid-scalp and crown area.

Do you think I have the right density after 10 days?

Do you have some before and immediate post-op pictures? This way an educated guess can be made on your density question. At 10 days post-op you’ve probably started shedding hair which will decrease the density on view. The temple corners have either a slight gap or the area was shaved and the camera has not picked up any stubble. Again, pre-op pictures will help.
You look to be healing well. I don’t see any sign of FUE on the sides. Did you have FUE or FUT?

The work from what I can see looks ok. They’ve concentrated on the frontal half and the lesser density further back. All you can do now is have faith in the clinic you chose and wait for the growth. It looks like your donor had some shock loss. That may take a while to recover.
Are you on any hair loss prevention regimen?

Thats what we agreed on. To focus on the frontal area as it was non-existent and a little bit on the mid-scalp and crown area.

I am only 24 years old and did not want to have a major surgery, considering that hair loss is progressive. I wanted to preserve some grafts for a future transplant, if need be.

Of course, to preserve me existing hair I am taking some medicine. 4/5 days after the surgery I started finasteride (each other day to limit its side effects). I am planning to start minoxidil for 6 months to deal with shock loss on the 14th day. I also take some multivitamins everyday which I intend to take everyday for the rest of my lfie.

3400 grafts is a major surgery, especially at 24. Hopefully, the meds work for you and you don’t suffer any sides. Hair loss at a young age is no fun, I hope you get the result you want.

Healing looks fine to me. Just some redness which is quite normal. Now its time to wait for that growth to happen.

Is there something that I can apply to reduce redness?

Aloe Vera 100% natural is quite good. Either the gel or spray. Some say witch hazel helps too.
