Guys..

Thought I would know all this by now having been though all this before...

But... Shedding questions....

Been on the fin and Rogaine for around a month now... bloody hell... shedding like I''m trying to qualify for the next Olympic Shedding Team..

This is normal, isn't it ?

How long do you think it'll last for ? Seem to remember it could be for up to 3 months......

The other thing I meant to ask... I found my store of Nizerol (not sure that's the right spelling, cant be bothered to go back upstairs at the moment) in the back of the cupboard... Is this stuff still recommended to help with hairloss ?

And... Do you guys still take MSM / MSG... or whatever it's called ?

Cheers all

Tim

Hi Tim.
The shedding is normal so don`t worry, usually a few weeks then its back to normal.
Nizoral is mainly used to counter the dry scalp/Dandruff caused by Rogaine, don`t think it actually regrows hair.

How about the MSM, MSG... cant remember ... do you still use that to speed up growth.. I remember that working as having to cut my nails a lot more whilst on it ?

It works for some to speed up hair growth so no harm in trying it as it's a natural supplement.

Well, just over 3 months since I started back in the meds after a 6 month gap..
After 3 months of quitting I noticed some thinning, but after 6 months it was major.. My hair went from good to terrible by the 6th month of stopping the meds..
Anyway, this photo is at the 3 month mark cut fairly short.. Was a bit short sighted and did not take any pics before I started back in the meds so it's impossible to give you guys an accurate idea of progress...
All I can say is that I am over the moon with the progress, I would say that my density has doubled... I will post again in 3 months with a similar hair cut and hopefully there will be more improvement..
I know that I always responded well to both meds and I believe that the quick benefit I have had is due to this and the fact that I was on them for 6 years before I quit,,

Honestly, if the meds are working for you..... Don't stop them !
The photo may look like my hair is think it is, but I'm more than happy and it is a very good improvement.... I've never wanted a full head of hair back, just to hide the old grafts... And it's working very well...
I happy,
People had started to look at my hairline again after so many years of my repair hiding the plugs... Now no one does... And that's the best result in do have hoped for :)
