Everything is right on track at 10 days. You're healing up well and those shed hairs with scabs attached are nothing to worry about, it is all part of the process.
The follicles are sitting in place waiting to grow.
I always say it's like planting a bulb in your garden. It flowers or could be in flower, then the stem dies away leaving the bulb underground waiting to grow again. That's the easy to understand explanation without being technical.

Day 12

scabs are pretty much all off now.

Shedding has started I believe, continue to see hairs after my morning wash, although this to be expected.

Donor area feels fine with only minor tenderness if touched.

You`ll probably return to your pre op look soon once the hairs have shed. Your donor can sometimes give pain in certain areas if a nerve was cut or simply just the soreness that is part of healing.
All looks good.

3 weeks post Op.

Still some redness
Tenderness in donor area has gone.

Starting to shed but hoping the next few months brings some growth!

1 month post op

Shedding is happening now!

Scalp is dry in places (and still a little red) but other than that all as it should be at this stage...I think?!

6 week update
Pics are with wet hair, just out of the shower.

Hair growing fast, hopefully shedding is over now.

I can already see new hairs coming, almost like stubble, but not expecting any real growth of grafts for a few months- but could be lucky!

You've healed well at 6 weeks. Hopefully, you are lucky with early growth, time will tell. Those grafts you had should make a really nice change to your appearance.

Hi, booked in the Dr in a couple of weeks. What was the food situation in the hotel? Do they do room service?

Also, did you drive the next day and how was it?

Driving the next day was absolutely fine. No issues at all.

to be honest, I didn’t actually eat when I got to the hotel. I just fell asleep.

I’m sure you could check with the hotel first, failing that you could always order something to the hotel and meet the driver in reception

Now at 11 weeks
Growing well, hopefully the start of new growth now!
I can feel more and more hairs coming through, still feels a little bit like stubble.
I can definitely see them better with my naked eye. I wasn’t expecting any real growth until around month 3 or 4 so anything before then is a bonus

Yes I remember thinking growth looks good, I’d then take a photo and it didn’t look as good. Like I was told on here the camera doesn’t pick up all the hairs unlike the naked eye. So don’t let that give you bad vibes

Glad it's going well. Thank for the update. Did you do anything about itchiness? or dryness?

That's looking really good!

Must be exciting to be able to feel the hairs starting to come through

Attached are my four-month pictures.
New hairs appear to be popping through every day.
I’ve tried to take some close-up pictures so you can see some of the smaller hairs coming through.

Does anyone on here know how long new hairs continue to come through for?

(I appreciate that the full result is not visible until 12 months, but I’m keen to know when all of the new hair will have popped through(
