Hi all,

I'm at about 7.5 months post-op now. I used to more or less have to cut my hair every 3 weeks or it would start to look bad. Lately I am cutting it at about 6 to 8 weeks since I can wear it longer. Its nice to have the option. Things are still progressing. The left side continues to outpace the right side but thats not really a problem at this length or even a little shorter.

My camera tends to warp things at this angle. I think the front looks better than this in person

At SMG, we hear the right side out paces the left more often than the other way around. Don't have an explanation as to why this occurs. In the end, it should even out.

Great pics and great result so far.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

@Janna, I'm left handed so maybe that's why it's reversed for me, lol. I was also thinking that it could be because the doc implanted most of the grafts himself on the left.

As planned, I went in for my second ht to complete the frontal third and address the crown and temple points. Due to the wavy nature of my hiar and other characteritics the doc felt we could get decent coverage and a decnt result without a lot of density. Im amazed at the area he was able to cover with 2500 grafts. He added around 1,000 to area around and just behind the forelock to complete the frontal 3rd, around 1200 to the crown, the remaing 300 were used on the temple points and a small addition to the hairline. I will try to post some pics of the temple points after I do some cropping.
This time I decided to stay in Brussels for a week to let the healing begin before traveling. So, I got to meet and spend some time with Dr. Bisanga's UK rep Stephen. First it was amazing the see his famous scalp in person. He's had over 8000 fue grafts and I couldnt see any evidence of scarring even with my reading glasses on. Not a single white dot. Secondly, even with the language barrier (I'm American) we got along quite well, lol. I was treated very well by Stephen and the clinic staff as I had nothing to do for a week and spent some time around the clinic. The best way to describe it is that they treated me like family.

Hi Levrais

Well it was a pleasure meeting you for all the staff and in some ways more so for me as we had communicated a lot before via email. Sure we are seperated by the same language but we managed to get by nonetheless lol.

Different accents but so much in common.

Happy healing and look forward to the updates and happy to have met you this time around.
