Was the aloe a gel or spray?
It was gel that doctor gave me, I keep it in fridge and apply it about 2-3 times a day on recipient, dont feel like I need to touch my donor anymore as it seems completely healed

I had my first haircut today boys and I think it looks amazing, I asked barber to go with slightly bigger guard and it was 3mm, next time I will try 2.5 to see if there is any difference. My donor looks completely healed and no scarring is visible, no thin spots aswell. Havent touched top of the hair at all. Also third pic. doesnt want to rotate for some reason haha.

Everything looks right on track at this stage. You have healed well. Your donor looks good, the barber did a good job with the cut. I see the odd pimple which is nothing to worry about. A warm damp compress helps to clear them up.

Aloe is one of nature’s greatest healing agents. Your appearance is pretty normal looking now.

Hey everyone, today marks 2 MONTHS POST OP :)

So far so good ; redness is almost gone, pimples are gone, hair has stopped shedding and I dont feel like I'm in the ugly duckling phase at all. Might have to do with me having a bit of my native hair already but now I cant wait to start getting growth. I have kept probably 15-20% of transplanted hairs which is fine. I dont have much to say so if you guys have some questions feel free to ask!

Everything looks pretty much normal for 2 months post op. Your donor looks good shaved down. Ow it’s just the wait for those new hairs to begin growing.

Hi @nokee its great to see someone else that recently went to Dr F and how quickly your redness subsided. I'm at five weeks post op and mine is so red still! Did you get the temple peaks shaved down with clippers from the barbers? I know in the post op notes Dr F states to wait 5 months for clippers on the recipient area but i see you've had your shaved high and tight

Hello mate, great to see another member from Dr. Ferreira office too ! My redness started to really go away noticeably at about 5.th or 6.th week if I remember good. I was using that aloe vera gel 2-3 times a day every day since OP and stopped maybe week ago. But redness is really personal thing because if you know mr. Rolandas, his redness went away totally at about 7-8 month mark if i remember good, try not to stress too much about it, it isn't important it will go away eventually.
About clipping my sides, yes dr. Ferreira doesnt recommend using clippers on any of the recipient area until 5-6 month mark, but I transplanted only about 50 singles on each side (maybe even 100 i really forgot that haha) and i didnt have any redness + those hairs shed first and right away (I assumed that part of my head healed completely). So with that in mind I asked dr. Ferreira if its alright to gently clip sides and he approved so I just went with it and clipped it to 2mm. I didnt notice anything different compared to how it was before clipping so its all good probably. Good luck with your transplant, im excited to see how it turns out :)

Hey guys, I was scrolling through the thread and I have noticed that I dont really have many closeup hairline photos that could be used in future for comparison.

Here are some indoors and outdoors shoots

I think once grown in you’ll have a great hairline that you’ll be very happy with.

I like the design of the new hairline mate! These next few months will be exciting as you slowly start to notice growth!

Any updates on your progress? You should be around 3 months post op I believe? I'm scheduled for January with Dr Ferreira so I'm trying to gather as much information as possible prior to going. Thanks!

Hey mate! Yeah I will post on 8.th December because that will be exact 3 month mark. I have had actually a lot of growth starting at 2-2.5 months, even my recipient became a little bit itchy, like weird itch feeling. You will see on the pictures!
If you need some help during your research feel free to PM me.

Hey everyone, today marks 3 months post OP.. Not much different compared to what it looked like at 2 months in but for sure some more growth. My recipient is very itchy at times which is a good sign, hairs are poppin through the skin. I think I can say I have some early growth? You guys can say
:)
. Anyways here are some pictures.

The growth is beginning to show now. Looking from a distance you can see the once barren temple corners now have hair with the whole transplanted area joining together to create the outline of your new hairline.
The itchiness is usually a sign of new growth pushing through. Try not to scratch though as it can bring redness back.
Thanks for the update.

Hey boys ,
4 Months update here !

Got some great growth from month 3 to month 4, probably more than I expected which is great. I dont have anything really happening to my hair besides growth so not really much to say. My left side is lacking a little bit compared to right side but really at this point I have no rights to worry about it, next 2-3 months are really when the hair starts sprouting at insane rate. Let me know what you think!

The hairline has grown in quite quickly since your 3 month update. It already frames your face nicely giving a more youthful look. Density is looking good. Both sides should even out over the next few months with the continued growth.
Has anyone commented/noticed your new look?

Yeah my parents havent seen me at all since my transplant and they were very surprised, we went through some few months old photos and i literally had no hairline, such a huge difference :D . Might post some of these pics next time, unbelieveable.
