Did Dr Georgiou say anything about electroylsis potentially interfering with the transplant, or give a time limit between performing electroylsis and having surgery?
No, I only electrolysis the sides and they were not touched during surgery.

He insisted to not punch out my sides as I asked him to do that but he said its better what I am doing with electrolysis than punching them out because of scarring.

I'm booked for next month so we'll not be far apart on timings.
So I met with Dr Michalis on Monday and was very impressed with his laid back approach, he estimated 3000 graphs, so I’m booked in for early January, bit nervous but exited at the same time , I found the price very reasonable as well , Bobbins did you go for a consultation as well , be good to know what you thought

I had an online consultation and had my procedure in July. I keep meaning to start a thread. The operation was similar - very laid back and easy - minimal pain, no numbness and really fast recovery. Within a week the surgery was pretty much undetectable.

I'm 2 months post op and have had early growth, especially in my hairline so am excitedly waiting for the next few months when the grafts will really start to grow....

I suppose you will do it in two successive days unshaven?

I suspect so. I think the maximum per day is about 1500 grafts. I had 2500 over 2 days.

Yeh over 2 days with hair not shaved ,what I’m interested in knowing is how quickly the donar area heals , before you feel confident about going out in public , and are you happy so far with the results bobbins, a picture would be nice , I’m hoping because he’s only doing the front peaks it will blend in well with the hair that’s remaining

About a week. It looks like a terrible hair cut since it's shaved fairly high on the head.

Thats at about 8 days, with 700 grafts into the hairline.

Do you have any pre-op and post-op pictures? This would be interesting.

I do, though I'll create a new thread rather than taking over this one. For long hair fue it's difficult since it's much more difficult to see the work done due to existing hair covering it.
I do think it's worth posting though, since the recovery process was very different - I think that he goes to a lot of effort to reduce trauma and to obtain pretty exceptional recovery times.
