Dr Tam vs Dr Arshad (hair doctor) UK

I know like most countries the UK only has a handful of surgeons that can be trusted.
If you were offered the choice of these two surgeons which one would you go with?
I think I may have finally got it down to these two now I am ready to proceed with the surgery, I was set on Dr Tam, however the communication at this clinic is pretty shocking and am finding it difficult to get a date set! Which is a shame.
I have seen good results from Dr Arshad, though recently the clinic he works at has been getting some bad reviews over on another forum I use, this has left me slightly worried.

I agree you must sift through the good bad and ugly. Sometimes bad can initially look good.
While I am a stickler for communications. If I was happy with the Dr to do the best hair transplant, I would voice my concern to them first. Then go with them, assuming you felt their reply was acceptable.
Dr Arshad has poor results on this forum too. You don´t have to look too hard, many repairs. If I were offered the choice of the two, I would choose the one that needs to have a better reply service. By the way, what do you mean "the clinic he works at" I thought it was Dr Arshad clinic. Good luck with your research

The service I have received from Dr Arshad and his team has been 1st class, but in the end the decision is down to you and what dr you think suits your needs and requirements best.

Yes you are right, I think I am being over sensitive as im eager to get it done but also want everything perfect, and when there is communication as poor as what I have experienced with Dr Tam it puts me off, where as Dr Arshad ''Hair Dr'' clinic, they seem to be in constant contact (probably pushing for a sale).

Hi MrGaga15, what are the clinics saying you’ll need graft number and treatment plan wise? Do you have a picture showing the area of loss you wish to rectify?

If you have done your research often your feelings are the right ones. I personally would not settle. If your research is telling you Tam is good for you then talk to them and express your concern. Sounds like he needs to employ someone to keep in touch. While that does not excuse poor communication it also does not have to reflect on the quality of work. He has been a round for quite a few years now.
