4[sup]th[/sup] procedure 10 months post op. Cut all the hair on top to about 1.5 inches. Looks like a little less hair but much easier to style and when I sprint I don €™t have long strands of hair flapping in the wind. It €™s like an anchor has been removed from around my neck and I can run faster without worry.

Thank you for the comments and I do truly appreciate how far I have come along.

I do my best to stay positive and move in a positive direction while helping others to do the same in my daily life. Sometimes it might appear that is not the case but if a bus is coming down the street and I think you might get hit €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦.I €™m going tell you or I €™m going jump out there and pull you out of the way €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦.just something that I can €™t change nor do I choose to...............just not possible..............I'm not wired that way.

The HT industry among many others needs more people that are willing to jump in front of the bus.

Hi TC, I prefer the short look as well. In aviation we would say it creates less drag.

Pete thank you.

I do appreciate that people take the time to comment but I in all honesty I €™m just looking for my hair to have a normal appearance just to make life easier. Not concerned so much with some fabulous head of hair as it does not matter to me as I have gotten older. My suggestion for others it to just improve yourself but be realistic and more importantly don €™t be harmed in the process.

I just took this picture outside as I shaved the sides down further and while I took the photo of my hair my neighbor lady was watching €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦..do I care €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦..not really otherwise I would not have taken the picture and I always have a answer for any comment or question.

The short hair suits me because I consider myself an athlete even at 52 because what is most important to me is health. It €™s at the top of my list followed by family, friends, doing good things, learning etc. Money is on the list but it is way down there along with hair. Point being, maybe some in the industry think I €™m out to get them but I €™m not. I just want to help some young guys avoid what I have gone through, why waste the experience €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦I believe in passing it on €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦taking the time and passing it on that sounds like something good to me.

Thank you everyone. BTW many people don €™t seem to understand the health issue. You do it for those around you more so then you do it for yourself. You set an example for them along with caring enough about them to care for yourself. How would those same family members and friends feel if you were no longer around because of a health issue, how sad would they be, that is partly why you do it and what should motivate you.

When I sprint my hair stays in place..................I like that ;)

Thanks Zionaxel...............hope you are doing well. There was a thread on the forum which showed some balloon work. You might be interested in taking a look at it..............just something to put in your back pocket as information. Maybe not so much for hair but to eliminate scarring..................is it easy................no..............but none of this is easy.

Your story is embedded in my brain...................the back room etc..............all of it.............wish the solution was easy.

Hi Dazzster €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦thank you €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦.yes I would like to go back if additional improvement can be made and that €™s a big if €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦..just haven €™t planned anything. My wife and I were planning on moving out of Illinois this year but looks like we will be postponing it for a year or so.

What €™s really important for me about this whole hair issue is to be able to remain outspoken about the industry. It really does come before anything else for me at this point in terms of hair. Being able to right a wrong that was done to myself and many others in the past and can still be seen today.

The ht industry has go me €œAll Shook Up € ;)
