Maybe Newcastle fans will now realise the only thing big about their club is the Stadium.

I hope Ronaldo breaks his leg or is that abit harsh. They've spent 220 million on forwards, but there weakness last season was in defense, go figure. I hope Man U get them in the champions league this season, Micheal Owen 3-0. He's gonna be top scorer this season.

Owen will do well if he stays injury free which is doubtful.

As for Ronaldo, you cant blame him for moving as he`s nearer to his home country and is a greedy bugger.:)

Clever signing by Lord Ferg in Owen,Will make Berba wake up abit.Didnt rate him too much last season also expecting a big year from Rooney.Still think Utd are the team to beat also feel Arsenal may finish out of the top 4 this season with Villa or Everton pushing for 4th place.Hope City bottle it with that twat tevez..

Hi Azza

I'm a Gooner. Great result, 6-1 at Everton. Mancs, Scousers and Chelsea supporters write Arsenal off at your peril this season. I think Man Utd might struggle a bit this time - they huffed and puffed with Rooney up front V Birmingham who if they had a striker might have nicked a draw at the end. Liverpool lacked flair in the midfield without Alonso and were devoid of attacking ideas. Hate to say it but Spurs look useful this season. Think we still need another centre back in place of Sendoros and apart from Eduardo (who can pass the ball into the net) none of our other strikers are clinical finishers. It could be a more open exciting Premier League.

Celtic tomorrow will be very tough.

The Gooner's were a little bit jammy last night, nice to see'em get one over the jocks tho. Liverpool aint looking good on sundays display, chelsea are looking pretty good, Man Utd need to start playing Owen from the start of games, rather than that lanky string of **** berbatov.

Yes, 2 fortunate goals for Arsenal but we controlled the game in the second half and kept the crowd quiet. The tie's not dead and buried yet though. However we need the money to hold on to our best players, so qualification is vital. Yes Shang, Michael Owen, provided he stays fit, could be United's saving grace. Spurs mugged you with Berbatov but they did sell you Carrick and Sheringham. I've a hunch Sir Alex will buy another striker or get one on loan before the transfer window closes. Chelsea look the ones to beat unfortunately (I'd rather anyone but them wins the title, with the exception of Spurs and then that would be fantasy football).

Hi Hairforever

Chelsea totally outplayed them last night, in the second half they were outstanding.

When they were 1-0 up and kept the lead till half time i thought they might weather the storm but they came out full throttle in the second half. They were barely in their half and they kept the ball great,we did not get a sniff.

Then it was just a matter of time for them to score with the constant pressure they applied.

Anyway as for Senderos for £10m and Bendtner for £20m, l agree both are cheap at the price.

Cheers bm.
