FUE procedure with Dr Bijan Feriduni - 3529 grafts

Hi Ross, thanks for the great write up and good to hear you are not experiencing any pain so far. The work looks very clean indeed and I am impressed that you didn't need a bandage on your donor area post op. I have a couple of friends who underwent HT's in Turkey and they told me there was a lot of discharge and bleeding during the first night and I'm curious to know if Dr Feriduni's clinic applied any special substance to limit that or perhaps this varies from patient to patient?

How did you find the anaesthetic from a pain/discomfort perspective? Did Dr Feriduni's clinic use a painless anaesthetic or was it just the regular needles?

Many thanks!

Hello, i think the lack of discharge is purely down to the WAW trumpet punch machine they have and technique.. I could be wrong. I dont think they put a substance on it as such. The anaesthetic injections were uncomfortable but ok. I could imagine that being quite distressing for someone with a low pain threshold.

Hi Ross. 7 days post op already, how time goes by fast. You look to be healing right on track. Let the shampoo soak into your head for 5 minutes plus as it helps with the scab removal.
Good to hear there has been no pain.
Thanks for the update.

Brilliant write up, the surgery went well, placement and extractions look great. You`re over the worst part, now it`s time to sit back and wait for that new hair to grow.

Day 14 has come around quickly. 14 day Quarantine on return from Belgium ends tomorrow which is great.... All of the scabs have now come off in the shower each day. I’m happy with how it looks at the moment, but understand that the hair will shed soon and it wont look so great... The last 2 weeks have been seamless and I followed the instructions exactly as told. Dr Feriduni is very happy with my recovery. I will post another update on 1 month post op.

Looking good Ross. You`ve healed very well, only lingering redness now.
Being quarantined worked out well for you. Nice 2 weeks to heal and take it easy.
I`ll look forward to your next update at the one month mark.
All the best.

Hi everyone,

Day 28, I’ve still been following the advice of the clinic using the serum/lotion on the recipient area and the oil for the donor area. Had no issues so far, I’m going to get my haircut this weekend to sort the sides out. As mentioned above my barber knows more about hair transplantation than I do, so Im in good hands there with getting it cut.

Few hairs have shed, but im expecting alot more to in the next few weeks. Dr F by 6 weeks most of the new hairs would have shedded. Still feeling very positive but I know there is a long way to go. I’m happy that I’m now able to do strenuous exercise as of today, I bought a new flat cap for when I’m out and about.
I will do another post soon maybe when the shedding happens so you can see, otherwise I will keep it monthly for now.

Hi Ross. Blending the sides in with a good haircut sounds good. I bet your barber could tell a few stories about poor work he has seen in the past..
Your donor looks good, recipient area still a bit red but that's no big deal.
What oil is it you`re applying to the donor?

Awesome write up and documentation... Dr Feridunis work always looks so clean and ultra refined which is probably why his patients seem to heal quickly after surgery. I bet this will be an amazing result once you reach 12 months.
Thanks for sharing it pal.

Hi mate,
Still using all of these, they will run out soon so will go back to normal shampoo and nivea lotion i think they suggested to stop it getting dry.

I wasn't aware Dr Feriduni had his own brand of post op care items. They're obviously working well for you.
Thanks for adding the images.

Hi all,

Been waiting to give you a 12 week update. Everything is going fine, this is the stage where not alot happens but lots of my original hair has grown back. Ive continued to use bepanthen cream on the recipient area and bio oil on the donor. The redness is going down week by week. Dr F said that its 4 months onwards that the new hair will start properly growing so we will see.

i havent been able to get a haircut since just before the new year due to lockdown so ideally would get the sides done.

Hi Ross.
Everything looks good and right on track for 12 weeks. It`s good to hear the redness is going.
Looking at your 12 week top down picture it appears you are having the first stages of growth come through
I`ve attached 2 images to illustrate the difference.
Thanks for the update and I trust you`re safe and well.

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re all keeping well.

It was 6 months post my surgery last Tuesday 11th May. Here are my 6 month photos.

It couldnt really gone any smoother, Ive had no issues but my hair has really come on the last month or so. Dr F is very happy with the progress and says it will mature over the next 6 to 12 months.

Im already ecstatic at the results and its already changed my life and people have noticed and are amazed at how good it is.

This has made me kickstart a fitness regime and since the gyms reopened on 12th April Ive lost over 8 kilos. So i’m really starting to get some confidence back in how I look. Ready for a big summer once the covid restrictions are lifted...

I cant recommend Dr Feriduni enough, it was worth every penny. I will post some more photos in 2/3 months time.

Ive been using the finasteride gel from Milan for 6-7 months and its noticeably improved my crown area and Ive not had any side effects.

One of my fav docs. Congrats on your results which should show even more sign of improvement over the next 6 months.
Great to hear that you lost weight as well ... it seems to be one of those things where if you get a good HT result it helps remind you how to take care of yourself better generally as well.

Very happy for you, and please keep us updated :)
