Thanks Bullit, Bigmac, what a welcome ¬b`, but I don't live anywhere near Leeds, my eldest bro does and I seldom see him 'cos of the distance, we mainly keep in touch by phone 'n email. I've seen him only a few times in the past years, and they included when I phoned him because our mom was dying in hospital, moms' funeral, and the scattering of her ashes.
I suffer with M.E. have done for 4 years now. It's affects brain function and causes muscle and joint pain, often with mass fatigue. It affects the immune system, and the mitochondria of cells don't absorb glucose properly to produce energy, instead you get more lactic acid (which is what you normally would get when you'd pushed your training session too hard and your muscles cramp up *grinning*)... There's much more but it's boring science to non-sufferers *smiling*...
I'm much better than I was two years ago, I've researched almost everything out there and I'm still researching. I've spent £ £ £thousands on health supplements to find a cure. I research them too, all kinds. And to say that 4 years ago I had pain just walking and couldn't finish my sentences or remember things (short-term memory) I'm loads better. I had to re-learn how to spell and re-learn how to type. I can even manage some training again now, as long as I regulate it and listen to my body. Otherwise I relapse, and relapses are really bloody painful, plus you never know how long they're gonna last...
My brain function is far better too, almost normal, as long as I don't use my brain too much or for too long. I got my M.E. through severe long-term sleep deprivation. I lived in a really noisey apartment and I always worked too hard and was never a big sleeper. Now I've started 3 books, one to help other M.E. sufferers (as I'm still determined to cure myself and my methods seem to be working, albeit slow), one to help Teenagers (hey, I'm a good therapist *smiling*)... and I've also started a novel, which I'm loving working on...
But I think it would be cool to meet up with you guys when I get even more functioning back, and I will *smiling*. We could maybe even get some pics for this forum. Sounds brill to me:::C, as does the beerZ:B *laughing*...
Thank guys, and I hope you're doing well -x-

P.s. Is this a long reply? *grinning* ...Hey, I can spell and type again, and even my brain works much better *smiling*, I'll get even better yet, but I'll never work 87 hour weeks again without getting enough sleep. No way in Hell lol
