I am new to the site and looking for help finding the right company. I have been in contact with Longivita Turkey two people I know have been there and seem happy with the work. I have also had a conversation with HGC London. would anyone have advice on either of these companies please. But reading though posts it seem a mine field. seen a lot of people talking about a Doctor Ball. Thanks in advance for any help.

Dr Ball is the owner of The Maitland Clinic… The other ones you mention use multiple docs which can make it difficult to research and match them to patient results… If you add a bit more info like age, current hair loss, any meds, some pictures….this will help to understand your situation.

Currently 54 hair loss started mid 30s so hopefully no more will be lost. I don’t take any medication.

You still have some hairline left and a thin covering going towards the crown which is the area that has most loss… Finasteride might help you out there by holding onto the hair that you have and strengthening it, especially your donor grafts which will need to be transplanted… You could get a fairly decent coverage I would imagine with strip or fue, something like 4000 grafts if you want the full head or about 2500 to concentrate on the front half.

I am certainly not an expert like Bullitnut, but 4000 doesn't look enough. I would get with one of the clinics that specialize in bigger cases like Hasson & Wong for a consultation so you have a proper comparison. It doesn't hurt to venture out and see what pros think. The turkey clinics vary by the Doctor---Bullitnut is right that sometimes it is a crap shoot because they don't commit to who is doing the extractions and slits. Shapiro is another I would get an opinion from. You may end with multiple sessions.

H&W is in Vancouver. Shapiro is in Minneapolis, MN ---USA. There is also Eugenix in New Delhi (less expensive) for bigger cases.

I am not an expert either…..just had a lot of experience with surgery.
I agree he could do with more grafts but not being on meds i was estimating on the cautious side… He could still continue with the loss even though he thinks it has stabilised. Reaching out to Hasson & Wong and Shapiro Medical is well with doing... I would add Hattingen, Eugenix and Medispa who do larger strip cases.
