So finally I €™ve made it to the 4th month today. The growth has been slow for me, I would say my hairline grafts have started to grow, some parts of my temples grafts also started to grow, but most are yet to grow. My temple peak on my right side is growing well but my left side peak again yet to grow. The numbness has almost gone.

Hopefully now the growth will start to happen.

It is taking shape with the hair combed down. I have come to understand 4 months is roughly the time period when things start to happen. Hopefully you get good growth from now.

Here €™s my 5 months update
As you can see from the photos my hairline grafts are growing well but my temple grafts are yet to start especially my left temple, I can feel the little grafts but they don €™t want to grow for some reason. My left temple peak growth is abit behind my right temple peak, the hairs are more curly on the left side aswell, apart from that all is good €¦lol.
It looks that I had some shock loss and the density is very weak in the front scalp, but hopefully this well improve over time, also I €™ve not had a haircut since my HT back in October as my hair growth is slow.
I €™m still taking medications mentioned in my previous post, but I €™ve changed few things since January:
- Doing more cardio in the gym than weight lifting - 3/4 times a week
- Trying to eat more protein per day with good balance diet
- Drinking 2 protein shakes per day
- 2 x 2 mins handstand per day, trying to get more blood to my scalp (increase nutrients and blood flow to the scalp, good blood circulation to the hair follicles is necessary for healthy hair growth).
Im also thinking of buying Nutribullet drink maker (trying to eat my 5 aday fruit) has anyone got this product, if so any good?

Good nutricen is good, you are getting some nice growth and the parts that are lagging behind will catch up. It's quite normal for one side to grow quicker than the other.
Glad you got the Gallery Sussed.
Thanks for the update.

Update of my beard donor after my hair transplant back in October 2014.

It €™s very good after 401 grafts extracted.

4 awesome repairs with SMG
Great thread this dude, the detail in the posts is superb and I commend you for it. The growth will even itself out mate, as Bigmac says its not unusual for areas to lag behind and it will catch up. The beard area looks to have healed superb.

Its expensive but if you want to give your growth a kick look at viviscal for men twice a day for three months and then once a day thereafter.

Starman it was 401 grafts from the beard.

FutureFue, there are may shampoos out there that can speed up hair growth, I see how it goes after 7 months.

Looks good Jay. Can you tell the difference between the beard and scalp hairs that are growing in the transplanted area.

That €™s a very good question....and the answer is I don €™t know. When I run my fingers over my scalp I can feel little hairs, but cant tell if they are beard or scalp hairs. Am I right is saying beard hair goes slower than scalp or is it the other way round?
