Hi

I have an appointment for my first transplant ( I need 2 procedures apparently) in August. This is with Dr sadhri at London hair transplant clinic. I have six weeks until the appointment and am thinking of cancelling. I’m now not sure all the time, discomfort and money is worth it. Has anybody felt like this then gone ahead or cancelled?

Hello Jon.
You should be 100% certain that you want to go ahead with surgery. Once it’s done, there’s usually no going back.
What’s your hair loss situation and what have you been offered?

Well dear if you not satisfied from the doctor then you should go for some research and RND ...

If you are feeling that unsure then it seems straight forward, don´t commit to it. If you haven´t paid anything you have nothing to lose.

Thanks for the advice. I‘m around a Norwood 6 and have been offered 2 transplants of around 2000 grafts each. Also recommended the PRP treat for a couple of months.

What have you been promised in terms of a result, anything like full coverage? I don´t understand why two transplants of 2000 grafts each. Have you only spoken to this one Dr, why not get a few more opinions.

Have you any pictures you could post showing your level of loss? What is the long term plan with these 2 surgeries? Are you on any hair loss prevention regimen?
