Hey everyone,
I wanted to share an update on my hair restoration journey. I previously had my first hair transplant at Hermest Clinic and was already very satisfied with the outcome. Since my initial results turned out great, I decided to go back to them for a second session to target the areas that still needed work.
This time, the plan was strictly focused on adding density to my mid-scalp and crown we completely left the front hairline untouched since that area was already solid from the previous procedure.
Here are the details from this session:
Grafts: 3,500 grafts extracted using an 0.85 mm punch.
Technique: Sapphire FUE (channels opened with slit technique).
Donor & Tissue: My donor area held up very well. The medical team noted that my scalp tissue is naturally a bit firm/hard, but the extraction went smoothly without any complications.
Hair Characteristics: My hair strands are on the finer side, but thankfully, a good number of the extracted grafts were multi-hair grafts, which should provide solid coverage once fully grown.
Procedure & Aftercare: The team was fantastic throughout the entire day. Everything was comfortable, channels were opened with precision, and they applied Arnica post-procedure to keep swelling and bruising down.
So far, the recovery is going very smoothly with zero complications. I'm following all aftercare instructions closely and looking forward to seeing how the mid-scalp and crown fill in over the next 12 to 18 months.
