Can anyone recommend who i could go to for a consultation and get an official assessment of the work i had done?
this would have to be in or around London / South West England.

i don't know how to do that grid thing with the image - any pointers would be appreciated.

Are you just wanting a opinion from a Dr or planning to have repair work done?

I believe Dr Ball is 5 British pound per graft.

What you need is another clinic to measure your density to establish what growth you had and check donor density.

It’s not a medical report to say if the work is good or bad, it’s just to establish the condition of your hair. Then you will be in a more knowledgable position to decide what to do next whether that is have another surgery or leave as is with the side styling.

Regarding the counting of grafts. Louii has kindly done a rough count on your pictures as seen in his post.

Not if you want your density checked. They’ll give you a rough estimate/opinion that’s all.

If I would guesstimate this, I would say they did approx 1300 grafts. 500 for each side approx in the front, approx 300 in the weird planting towards the back of your head.

If you want me to be truthful, the work looks terrible with gaps all over.

He's saying 2300 grafts, there is no way it is 2300 grafts in there, maybe he meant the grafts he extracted? Then he threw the other 1000 grafts in the dumpster.

The dots seem to be accurate enough to get an estimate which is probably 1500 max.

thanks for doing this. I am also going to try zooming in very close. because of the size of some of the scabs i am unsure how many grafts would have been implanted. How many would you say are in the area i have circled for example?

Its a rough estimate, it probably is less grafts than I counted because I was being generous. The scabs was pretty heavy but I did a calculation after the scabs was gone at Day 10 aswell and both came out pretty close so I would say somewhere 1000-1300 grafts was implanted.

I will need to find something cheaper than that, or go back to HGC if I feel they can improve things, or just leave as they are.
I would like to try and look at the possibility of making a claim against HGC for providing sub-standard treatment and claim money back from them. I am not sure where to start. But I think that if i can get an impartial expert to concur with what you, and others have told me on this group, I should have a solid case.

I am going to Dr Marwan Saifi in Poland he is 3 euro per graft. Most great Drs are from 2.5 euro and up.

It all depends on what you would be happy with, do you want the multis in the front removed, or it might be possible to implant softer hairs infront and add density to this transplant.

I think you will need to be hesitant with your next move, we are all losing hair with age and your donor area is not infinite, you cannot do another failed transplant.

Sounds more like you did a mistake going to the wrong Dr or kept losing hair without considering medical treatment.

There are many Drs out there doing amazing work.

This group disagrees with that number. Maybe I could claim for some money back if another Dr agrees that the grafts implanted is far less than 2300. The evidence would support that a lower number of grafts were implanted because my pictures post op seem to show that as well. So if another Dr would agree with that, it makes the surgeon who did this position difficult to believe.

I am considering a legal route, but keeping open all options at this stage, until I know more about my situation, and what the possibilities are. Also, I will try to work out an agreeable solution that works for me, before taking any legal route. that is clearly a last resort.

Hi Phil. You are certainly entitled to your view - I find it interesting to read it.
It doesn't agree with SOME of the results I have seen from friends, and examples on this group. But that's my own perspective.

I guess this discussion is not for this thread and I am sorry I did not mean it was your fault by any means. I just mean that there are a lot of people out there getting great results.

Did you go 3 times to Feller if I understand you correctly? You had FUT all 3 times?

Did you ever do a biopsy to check for any possible explanation for the poor growth?

This is an important point I would say. Most of us get our info from pictures, mainly online, with our research. The actor James Nesbitt is a case in point, who looks to have had a good result but I've heard that if you see him in person the results aren't as convincing. It's very hard at times to know what to trust.

Ive seen loads of guys in person who have had transplants
My opinion it is always see through thin apperance however how many transplants they have had
Its how u style it that makes it look better
