How to quit Minoxidil?

Hi everyone, hope someone can provide some advice on quitting Minoxidil after 5 years. Propecia gave me sides, stopped using it after several months - Minoxidil was fine, no sides whatsoever unti the past 4 weeks. Every time I apply it, I feel a slight dizziness followed by headaches. It's reached the stage where I can't concentrate on what I'm doing because my head is pounding. Pain meds don't work, I have to wait it out.
I've stopped using it for 2 days at a time, no headaches on these days. They start again as soon as I apply the Minoxidil.
I'm definately stopping the use but wanting to know of any natural alternatives I can try to keep the gains I've made.

Sorry to hear your having some issues with Minoxidil. Visit your family doctor to get checked out to make sure the headaches aren't something more serious. Put your health first.
You could try Saw Palmetto as some say it works for them. You could also try a weaker Minoxidil or the foam versions that aren't quite so harsh on your scalp.
Let us know how you get on.
All the best.

I've read it could be the alcohol contant within Minoxidil that causes the sides, therefor it makes sense for me to try the foam. I've decided to quit Minoxidil altogether, fingers crossed the foam works.
If the headaches persist I'll take your advice to visit my doctor.
Thanks for the advice.
