Happy New Year, hope it's a hairy one.
The meet up will be held on Sat 14th Jan 2012 in the bar at Britannia Hotel 35 Portland St, Manchester. M1 3LA ( @ 4pm onwards); this is where it was last time and it seemed fine. However there are 2 bars, so I will call them tomorrow just to see which is the better bar.

Thats great Bw, theres a big car park right across the road, its right next door to the Farjo Clinic also so if you know where that is you will find the location easy.

Just a quick update, Hair meet is at the Britannia Hotel, Portland St, Manchester on Saturday 14 Jan 2012 from around 4pm onwards. There is a large multi storey Car park, 2 mins away on Chorlton Street.
There are a couple of bars in the hotel, so head for Bar-rouge.

Hi All.

Thanks to all who attended the meet up on Saturday.

Special thanks to those guys who made their way down (or up) from far flung parts of the country, especially Bigmac and Lawson77 who travelled from the North East. (Manchester is tropical to these guys). A big thanks to Mick from Farjo and their former patients who attended (Mick didn €™t buy the drinks €“ he has got short arms and deep pockets ;-) ) and of course thanks to the guys who attended, who were looking to have work done. It was great to chat to HT vets and newbies and I hope that the newbies (and the vets) took something away from our chats.

It was nice to see Farjo patients in €˜in the flesh €™ and full marks to €˜Roy from Yorkshire €™ who had a top notch result, very nice. In was good to see all the guys mingling and chatting comparing results, scars (I think there were a few strange looks for the bar above) etc .

All in all, a great evening and hope we can do it again sometime, in another city and maybe get some docs involved?

Any ideas would be welcomed

Thanks Bw, it was a good meeting, great catching up with old friends and meeting new ones.

Plenty of patients from different doctors, so hopefully the new guys who attended found it most helpful.

There's a great chance I'll be there in late spring or early summer so I hope to coordinate the next meet up when I'm in UK.
