That's similar to what I'm seeing - I'll be 3 weeks on Tuesday and I think I've shed a large amount of my transplanted hairs now - looks just as thin as it did before now. Trying to forget it as I know it's part of the process but still hard to watch those hairs run down the drain after a wash!
I’m the same as you guys with the native hair significantly standing out and growing quicker. I guess it’s reassuring though that we’re all experiencing this around the same time, as it pretty much demonstrates how normal it is. I’m going to get my back and sides trimmed down when I hit 3 weeks to balance it out a bit.

Im now on day nine, being super careful with the washing . The scabs are gradually coming off talking the odd hair here and there. Even at 9 days my native hair is longer, so I'm pretty much the same as well.

I got the wife to take some more photos so I could see what’s going on up there (Day 16 since HT). I’m noticing at the front and crown there are a few gaps where the hair has obviously started shedding ready for the new hair to come through. I don’t think the pictures show much difference than the ones before but I thought I would share them anyway.
Still got a hairline to look at though

So it’s 1 month today since my HT. I can see things are starting to happen as I can see the new hairs starting to come through. Must say the look I’ve got at the minute is not very flattening. Took my son to our regular hair dresser last week and he said to me I’ve got the action man/tennis ball look at the mo. I got my son to take some photos today they are not the best but as you can see I’ve shed quite a lot. Thank god I don’t have to go out much lol, but I know it will be worth it in the end

4 awesome repairs with SMG
Thanks for the updates dude....you look to have healed well and be bang on where you should be...your entering what I thinks the worst stage over the next couple of months as you will be so eager and excited but nothing much will be happening....then before you know it you will be smack in the middle of the exciting stage and you will be happy as anything to see things happening.

Thanks Bullinut. Yeah I can see why people get down about these first few months. People tellIng me there is light at the end of the tunnel are keeping my head up though

Still looking good and on a brighter note, by the time I get mine done at the end of October your new shoots will be cracking on.

I’m now starting to see some progress with new hairs growing. It will be 5 weeks since my HT tomorrow. I’ll post some more photos in the next week, hopefully the camera will pick up the new hairs.

So here are some 5 week post HT pictures. To be honest the pictures don’t do the progress any justice. I can feel the new hairs growing as they feel more prickly than the native hair. Not many journeys document this part which I understand as photo wise there is not much difference. Anyway I thought I’d keep people updated.

Thanks for the update, it's great to see. Positive that you can see and feel the little prickly new hairs coming through. I find myself checking them out in the mirror fairly religiously at the moment ensuring they're not falling out. I need to prepare myself for the shedding faze!

It will be 7 weeks post my HT tomorrow and I’m really starting to see some growth now. I will get my son to take some photos and I’ll post them up tomorrow. Starting to get excited now with the final result as things are starting to happen up there

I found the biggest issue was my butt aching from sitting in the chair.

Here are my 7 week post op pictures
Really good 7 weeks growth! I’m sure you’re going to be happy with the end result! I’m just a week behind you so it definitely helps give an estimate to see what’s coming (although I know some peoples growth can vary!)

What kind of hats are you wearing? I don't do hats so it'll have to be some kind of bandanna when I get mine done.

Great progress so far, How obvious is it you have had a HT 7 weeks in? I can see it's a bit red in the pictures but how is it in the flesh?

I’m just wearing baseball hats. I hate hats, they don’t suit me at all. I think maybe in another couple of weeks I might be a ale to get away without wearing one.
