Yep I’m pretty happy with how things are progressing now!! Can’t wait to not have to wear a hat out in public
I’ve gone to the barbers to trim the back and sides down. There were also some spikey bits on top that the barber carefully snipped with scissors to even it out. It does definitely help with how the top looks if you’re thinking of doing that!

Yep my son is booked in for a hair cut in 2 weeks so I think I’ll get the barber to give me tidy up while I’m there.

In fact my son had his hair cut today as is school
Photo is happening Wednesday and the barber gave the back and sides a little trim and tidy up. It has even made my HT look even better now. My barber was very impressed with the donar area saying he wouldn’t even know they had taken hair from the back and sides.

Getting your hair cut after your hair transplant is a good feeling. Good to hear the donor is in good condition with no visible signs of anything being done.

Just curious how short you’d gone for the scars not to be visible?

I think the barber started at a 2 then blended it in to a 3 then I’m like a 4/5 when he didn’t cut dude to new hairs being there

Ok I’m now 2 months post HT and I took some more pictures today. Like I said before the camera doesn’t really do the growth I can feel justice, but as I’m taking photos for my own records I thought I might aswell share them. You will see where I had a few spots on the side and today I noticed I have a spot on top of my head.

Its only 2 months, and you know it'll probably be another 2 months until real progress happens, how do you feel? It looks like its going to be good, but only you know how it feels so keep the faith

I can feel the new hairs coming through and the density feels good, but it’s hard to capture it with a camera at the moment. Even my barber felt the hairs in the crown and mentioned that it feels very full there. I’m sick of wearing a hat now, but I’m still not comfortable going out without one yet. When I look in my bathroom mirror as that room in my house is darker you can see where my hair line is etc. Roll on 4 months profess that’s all I can say

Looking great mate. You can certainly see the difference and where the hair line is forming!

I think I’m seeing slower progress than yourself. I’ve had a smaller area covered, but I was seeing sole hair growth around week 4/5 but it seems to have come to a halt a bit. Not sure if anybody else has experienced this?

Just regarding your spots you’ve mentioned, I’ve just read on Dr Shapiros website that using baby shampoo post 30 days can cause spots and to not use it once you’ve hit 30 days. I don’t know if you’ve been advised the same, I’ve been told to continue using until the bottle has gone. Maybe somebody can clarify?

Yep @Kelvino1987 i was told the same to use the bottle Dr Arshad put in the post op pack until it’s gone. I’d say I’ve still got about 2 weeks supply left. Maybe I should stop using it now??

I did text Sommiya a couple of weeks ago and she’d said to keep using it until it’s gone. You’re only a couple of weeks away from finishing it. Maybe drop her a text and clarify?

Here are my 10 week post HT photos.

I’ve now started venturing out without a hat on. Again my pictures don’t do the progress I see and feel justice, but I think this stage is important for other people to see what it’s like.

Images quite often don`t capture the finer hairs and then the lighting will make some seem invisible. At 10 weeks it`s about the time when first signs of growth begin to show. You will find that time will pass by quickly from now on. Your donor looks in good condition.

Thanks for the update.

Yes my bathroom mirror shows the results a lot better as the light in there is not so harsh.
When I touch the donor hair the best description I can use is that it feels like a toothbrush, the density to me seems very good

What's important is that you can see it and know things are happening. Soon enough your new hairline will be visible.
