Hope all goes well, I'm booked in at the same clinic in a month time. Already exited and anxious and can't really think about much else. Hopefully I will be able track your progress one month ahead of my own.

Well it’s the day after the procedure and I will document how yesterday went with some added photos

Me and my dad arrived around 7:45 am and were welcomed by Sommiya, straight away I was made to feel at ease. Due to Covid we had to sanitise our hands and wear a face mask until they had checked our temperatures once this was done we were allowed to take off our masks and gloves.

Next step was to meet the doctor and discuss the procedure, hairline and what to expect. He checked my donor area and drew on a hairline. It was perfect fitted my face to a T and looked natural for my age. I was then off for the head shaving stage (very worried about this as I know I would look terrible with a shaved head) once this was done it was down to the operation room and my dad was shown to a room they had put aside for him so he could do work as it was going to be a long day and we had travelled nearly 4 hours to get here.

Once in the operation room I was filled in with everything that was going to happen as it was happening. The first part was them firing this high speed gun which shoots a numbing agent into the donor area at a high speed before the anaesthetic Is injected so you don’t feel the needle, I felt absolutely nothing. Once the area was numb the extraction process started to take place which again was painless and I was kept informed through the whole process. This took around nearly 4 hours as I had 3727 graphs in total extracted.

lunch was next which for me was a chicken wrap with chips which I had ordered during the extraction process, they also supplied my dad with lunch also which we ate together. My dad asked me how I was feeling and I said. “Great no pain at all and I wish I had gone through with a HT sooner.

After lunch it was time for the incisions to be made by the doctor, this again was painless and took around 2 hours.

Next we had a toilet break and then we started with the graph in planting process. This was done by the technicians with the Dr overseeing the process. I had 3 technicians working on mine and it took around 4 hours in total and was totally pain free.

All in all my experience at the Hair Dr was very successful and I would highly recommend them, now I just need to eagerly await the results.

Sleeping last night was a bit of a pain as I never sleep on my back I feel quite ok today no pain just a little tired. Here are my photos.

2 days after the procedure and all is well. I’ve still had no pain at all. Donor area is healing well and redness is slowly going down in recipient area.

Sounds like everything went very well for you. That amount of grafts will make a very nice difference to your appearance.
Your donor has a bit of excess scabbing, be careful not to pick or rub it. Other than that, it looks to be healing well.

Yep very pleased with everything so far. I think the excess scabbing is just blood that has run, I’ll no more on Saturday when I can wash it gently. I’ve had no pain at all and it doesn’t itch, which I’m surprised. I’ve heard of people in terrible pain and wanting to itch their scalp

People have different pain thresholds, usually, it`s the soreness of the holes healing and pulling the scalp while they close up. As for itchiness, it may happen for you, great if it doesn`t though.
In a few more days everything will feel like its back to normal.

So today is day 5 after the procedure and all still seems well. Had a few questions about sleeping etc and fired them over to Sommiya this morning, she got straight back to me with the answers. Here are some pictures that my wife took today. Can’t wait to wash my head/hair on Saturday.

It’s been a week since my procedure and I washed my hair for the first time today, following the instructions by Dr Arshad. I’m so happy with how things are looking and healing still. Here are some photos I took today after the hair wash.

Glad everything is going well for you, these posts have really helped me. Turns out I got a cancellation for next Wednesday, so I don't have to deal with the nerves for a month. It seems the hairdr is as good as gets, convenient as I'm only a half hour away.
Thanks again,
Jamie.

All scabs and crusts have come off today after 3rd wash. Tried to take some close ups to show the density that the new hairs were implanted at. Hopefully, you can see them.

Your healing looks to be right on track. It`s a good feeling when those scabs are gone.
Density is hard to judge as you will probably have shed some hairs already.
Nothing to worry about just got to wait now.

It’s now 10 days since my HT and my wife took some more photos for me today of the donor area. It looks well heeled. I still get the odd tingle in the back every now and then.

Looks like it's healed up very nicely to me. Releaved to see these pictures as my wife has been worrying about the healing and any potential damage to the donor area.

I can’t believe how quickly it’s all heeled. Saw my friends on Sunday who don’t know I’ve had a HT and their only comment was “Wow that’s a good Covid cut” so I think I’ve got away with it lol

Ha-ha, sounds like you've definitely got away from it. I would have no idea from the latest picture either!

Did you stay in a hotel near the clinic? I assume we aren't allowed to drive after the operation (I live 4 hours away).
