I loved the fibres in my early days of growth but everyone is difference. Right now you can style your hair without any issues and it looks good.
Looks much more dense now after the topup and more to come.6 month post top up up date. Very happy with how things are looking and I’ve still got 6 months to go!! The first 4 pictures are with freshly washed hair and still slightly damp and the last 4 are styled.
I have a very slight thinner spot just above my left eye it’s hardly noticeable. I’m sure this will thicken up in the next 6 months.
Oh alright, you had 4k in the front and 1k in the crown. 4000 grafts should do it, it looks good I think now.@loui my frontal third had a total of 2900 grafts
Im happy at the 6 month mark so more to come in the next 6 months is a great feeling
So the first surgery had about 1924 only for the frontal third? and 1800 from the frontal third and back to the crown as it was 3724 grafts in total.I had 2900 in the frontal third, then 1800 used from the frontal third back. Yes I’m happy with the crown, Infact I’m very happy with my HT now
Surely that’s subjective? What you consider decent density may differ from what others do. Case in point, he had less than that despite having light hair and is happy with the density, and to my eyes, it looks great. So the first surgery had about 1924 only for the frontal third? and 1800 from the frontal third and back to the crown as it was 3724 grafts in total.
Your topup had 1012 grafts and only in the frontal third.
So total for the frontal third approx 2900.
I think in your case if my numbers is correct above, it was a little too ambitious to think 1924 grafts would cover a almost totally receded frontal third part. That area with decent density should be 3000-3500 grafts depending on hair characteristics and optimal growth.
Well my point is to discuss why @Baldingman23 was not happy the first time around as this is a discussion forum, you guys seem to be offended easily and its not my intention.Surely that’s subjective? Maybe it’s lost in translation/language?Well my point is to discuss why @Baldingman23 was not happy the first time around as this is a discussion forum, you guys seem to be attacked easily and its not my intention.
It depends on what decent density is yes, but normally 50% of the native density is considered to give an "illusion of density" enough for the patient to be happy, usually the aim would be a little bit higher for the front, say about 50 grafts per cm2 and 30-40 grafts per cm2 further back.
There is in my opinion no way you can cover the frontal third, no matter how small your head is with 1900 grafts with satisfying density if you are as receded as @Baldingman23 was.
Frontal third is usually around 70-80 cm2 to cover. If we assume 1924 grafts on 70 cm2 total area its 27,5 grafts per cm2, I would say most would not be happy with that density.
