I`ve tried quite a few and decide that Nanogen was the best. The fibres were a little larger and stuck to my hair better. A little sprinkle can make a big difference.
This is me in this video. My crown transplant had grown quite a bit but the Nanogen made it easier while waiting for the growth. I used it pre op too when my crown was quite bald.

Two Weeks Post Op
Two weeks after the surgery and I can lead a relatively normal life. This week I had the daunting experience of returning to work sporting a completely new look. I was pleasantly surprised at how positive everyone has been about my very short hair. Working in healthcare means I have face to face contact with patients every day, some of which I see regularly. I have also found them to be complimentary about my new “haircut”.

I have returned to exercising daily which has included running and fitness classes. Today I also restarted my use of regaine and theradome treatment. I thought I would be more self conscious of my appearance and wear hats regularly. I have in fact only been wearing them for sun protection.

As expected, I am starting to see some hairs shedding. As this gets more obvious, I will most likely shave my hair shorter as I wait for the new growth to start.

You look really good considering your only 2 weeks post op.

It doesn't look like you've had surgery at all.

Everything has healed very well for you. At 2 weeks post op there’s not much sign of surgery. It’s good to hear that people were oblivious to your surgery and complimented the short hair look. Now it’s just the waiting game for those grafts to grow.

Thanks for the update.

Looking good for one month post op. Some lingering redness in the recipient area which is quite normal.

4 awesome repairs with SMG
Donor area, placement and healing all look great….Have some of the transplanted grafts continued to grow? Certainly looks like it with the area appearing fuller…

Yes I think some transplanted hairs have continued to grow. Slightly difficult to compare to before with how long I had my hair but I agree it appears fuller.

Everything is looking good at 2 months. I tend to agree with Bullitnut, I think some of the grafts continued to grow.
I doubt anyone looking at you in person would know you’ve had surgery.
Thanks for the update.

Hi Hairstory, hope all is well. Thanks for the two month update. As Bigmac says, you have healed very well at this stage. Are you going to continue with the buzz cut for the next few months or will you start to grow it out again now?

Look forward to seeing the 3 month update.

David

Hi David
Great to hear from you, I’m actually quite enjoying the buzz cut at the moment so will keep that going for a few more months! As soon as I start to see a bit more growth then I’ll start growing the curls again in time for the wedding…

Sounds like a plan. I think it works well after FUE to keep it short for 5-6 months and then grow it out.

Your transplanted area is filling in nicely. Once you let your hair grow I think it will look great, especially with your hair characteristics.

Thanks for the update.
