Just hitting 3 months now so thought I’d share a pic update. I’ve been through the shedding stage which probably started (noticeably) at around 4 weeks post op. It is a worrying period, particularly after my first procedure with the Hair Dr, but I knew this procedure with Dr Michalis, I needed patience and to see it out. This is under harsh lighting, but can definitely see growth coming and my hairline taking shape. I was told after my first procedure I was a slow grower, but it doesn’t seem the case here….

Early days! Looking normal. Will be fun to see at the 6 month mark! :)

15 weeks post repair with Dr Michalis. Thought I’d post some pictures in natural sunlight, with both my hair pulled back and in its natural position. I’ve had my hair cut to a number 6 on top with a skin fade. Really happy with the progress up to now. Still early doors, but compared to where I was at with my first surgery, it’s absolutely miles better. I just wish I’d gone to Dr Michalis to begin with.

Really pleased for you mate. You are going to get a great result from this, given how good it looks after 15 weeks. So glad you went with gut instincts and chose this surgeon. Looking forward to seeing the final results. There's some very impressive results coming from Dr Michalis!

Thanks man! It was definitely the right decision. How’s your progress? Hoping you’re getting some good results too.

It's growing well. My surgery with the same surgeon was mid July. Expect months 4 and 5 to accelerate markedly!

100%. Feeling much more confident than the first surgery. There is scarring on the back, but Dr Michalis extraction pattern has “balanced” the scarring appearance with the extraction pattern he applied. I’ve been wearing my hair short on the back and sides (a skin fade conceals the scarring a bit) but I’ll grow it out and post a picture to show how it looks when a bit longer.

The attention to detail on his manual punching is insane, he took 1214 grafts from a huge area on me and my donor does not look any different than before my second surgery. I already had 2500 grafts taken in my first surgery(Michalis said he thought they overharvested abit aswell)

Wow, this looks great!!! So pleased for you.
Thanks man. It’s a massive improvement, really pleased and still more maturing/thickness to hopefully come. Definitely not a slow grower as I previously was told/believed.

How are you getting on with yours bud?

Looking very nice Kelvino.
Your donor ain’t looking bad either with that haircut. I’m glad it’s working out for you.

Cheers BM!

Yeah I am going to grow it out now, was just keeping it short during the growth stages. It feels great having a hairline again!

My crown is still not fully there, there has been growth, but I can feel spikey hairs coming through. Apparently the crown takes longer doesn’t it?
