One Month Post OP hair shedding and touching the graphs

Hello. It has been almost 25 days that I have done my hair transplant. Almost 5000 graphs have been implanted. Now, I am using the prescribed medicine from doctor and using minoxidil once daily at night and using ketoconazole shampoo and coal tar sylacylic acid solution twice in a week. I am touching my graphs very often but with very gentle hand. Every time I touch the hair, I am seeing hair in my hand.

Now my question is, is it okay if I touch my hair like this and is it normal to have hair in my hands (I know shedding phase but still wants to be sure). Also, can I use regular shampoo when I am not using ketoconazole and sylacylic solution shampoo?

Thank you.

Once you're past 14 days your grafts are pretty much set. Although they recommend you avoid scissors type haircuts until the 4 week point and clippers until the 6 week to avoid pulling out any grafts which may not have healed 100% so I would imagine touching it is fine (considering the advise massaging the scabs off at the 2 week point anyway).

Perfectly normal to shed too.

Why are you using so many different medicated shampoos? Your scalp is clear of any scabbing now? As been said, the transplanted hairs do shed in the first month.

Shampoos are prescribed by the doctor.

You could still be shedding. The itching will probably be part of the healing process. Heck with your doctor about anti histamines as they can help.
