Hi Staffie,

All looking good, this should produce a very nice result.

As for pictures, you can upload them to your gallery which is top left of page or email them to me at hairlossexperiences@googlemail and I will add them.

Cheers Bm..

Hi all!

Firstly, many apologies for not providing a 5/6 month update as I said I would do in my original post. I won't go into the details but my elderly mum has required a lot of support recently so I dropped virtually everything except for Mum/work. Things are a little easier now.

I sent my camera off for repair a couple of weeks ago and it has been returned still not working so it is back in the post. I have an appraisal with Dr Farjo/Mick on 10th September and Mick has said that they will take some photos if I haven't managed to produce any myself so it looks like it will be a 7.5/8 month update. I would hope to then provide updates every couple of months or so

Hope things are going well for all of you, I will have a proper look in a week or so when I have more time.

Best wishes,

Staffie

Good to see you posting again dude....life can be hectic sometimes pal and i truly hope you get your mam sorted. I look forward to seeing the updates in the future but at the moment you concentrate on your mam dude.

When life throws up problems it kind of puts hairloss into perspective at times.

warm wishes bn

I will hopefully be back with pics and more info in approx 2 weeks, then I will have a chance to look at how everyone else is doing.

Hi to all,

Firstly, apologies for the further delay in providing an update. I did

see Dr Farjo and Mick approx 6 weeks ago but have had a fairly manic time since

then. Things are a little quieter now. I think it was Bullitnut who

said that health matters put hair loss into perspective. That's certainly

true but it's now back on my priority list particularly after studying some of

my recent photos.

As I go through this post I will upload (hopefully) photos taken at different

times before and after my transplant. Because I have been preoccupied

with other matters in recent months I haven't taken too much notice of my hair

(except for what I could see in the mirror) but some of the latest photos would

seem to demand fairly prompt action of some kind. Regarding my transplant

(Jan 2013) I had 1916 grafts (FUT) 436 x single hairs, approx 1200 x 2 hairs

and the rest 3/4 hairs. Bear in mind that I always knew one transplant was

never going to be enough. I'll give details of my meeting with Dr

Farjo/Mick after the photos.

The following are photos I had taken after a no1 cut approx 18 months prior to

transplant. The photos aren't very good but give an indication of the

damage (drill holes/scarring) caused by a car accident many years ago. I

hadn't had my hair cut that short for a long time so I wanted to see if it was

an option (judge for yourself)!
