Have you tried concealer to see how full you can make it look now that you have more hair there?

Hi . As I have my good hair longer at the back my style (lol)brings it forward . It is quite good I think with concealer. However, I cant wait for the day having give the meds there chance and had a ht I no longer have to use concealer at the front as its a right pain in the asse to use everyday. Concealer is a doddle to use bar the hairline. It is much easier with dermatch than toppik

My word, I'm well jealous of these results!

I've been on the foam for about a month so can't expect anything yet. Not sure if I should really expect it to work any better than the liquid (which I previously tried for many years)

Give the foam a full twelve months if you can, also are you taking Propecia

Hopefully you can regrowth enough hair to not warrant a Ht, if this is not possible you are clearly growing enough hair to make any surgery you undertake in the future a lot smaller.

Make sure you take some controlled photos to compare against as you go along. If I had not there is a good chance I would have thrown the towel in at some point

Yup - well generic finasteride cut up in to quarters (which I've been on for over a year). I shall keep you posted. These forums are quiet but the best I've encountered ;)

Main problem I have so far with regaine foam is that I don't always do a great job of rubbing it in at the back, so I have what looks like shaving foam on the back of my head. Bit embarrassing that!

It should dissolve within minutes and dry soon after.

It disappears even if you don't rub it in? I'm fine at the front because obviously I can see it - but if I miss a bit at the back it seems to hang around.

Just pst it down gently and have a hand held mirror so you can have a quick check.

I'm sure that'd work fine - I just don't like looking at my bald patch. I only get to see it in the occasional mirror and picture, but for the most part try and pretend it's not really there.

If you still have some hair there, maybe try one of the various concealers available, they work well.

Have you any pictures of your crown you can post.

I think the concealers would work quite well for me, but I've never really tried them - can't quite explain why but it's not something I'd be very comfortable doing.

No pics sorry - I hate looking at it let alone taking pictures.

You should give Dermmatch or Nanogen a try.
