hey bn
well, funny story. i went on sunday thinking it might be quiet, which of course it wasnt. when i eventually got called,i told them i had fallen and split my head to avoid any embarrasment, the two nurses tried unsucessfully to remove the stiches so the got a third in to help, all along asking how i did it, when the 3 of them struggled they got 2 practice nurses in, so i had 5 of them lol. at this point i admitted i had had surgery and was just embarissed to say, they were all so sympathetic.
the two practice nurses took me to their room, they were really great, i eventually told tghem exactly what i had had done, they seemed really interested in it and turned out one of them had had her ears pinned back so she kinda understood what it was like to change something you dont like. anywho it took both of them about 3/4 of an hour to get the stiches out. they were suprised that it was one long stitch and not seperate ones, but they did say the scar was very neat and seems really impressed by it.
sleeping a bit better now but .still a little tender. also started shedding a little which to be honest is a little depressing even tho i knew it was on the way. iam so bloody impatient lo, iam trying to forget all about it but really hard when u look in the mirror, just wishing time away at the min.
will load a few pics at the 3 month stage,
thanks for the support, its been needed
