So although I was extremely happy with my outcome, I decided to go for round two and have the crown sorted yesterday.

Dr Ball and his team are just a pleasure to spend the day with and the way you are treated was a major influence of my decision.

So here are the photos the day after surgery, which look great.

The main thing I would stress to anyone thinking about it, yes the pictures can look scary for the first few days, but although I am spraying the hair regularly throughout the day, there is absolutely no pain or discomfort and my only worry is that I forget that I have had it done and start touching the grafts.

It really is a walk in the park, Dr Ball and his team are outstanding and I can’t be happier having only just returned home last night.

Looking forward to the results, but probably just more looking forward to day 6 when I can touch the grafts, I will then just let nature take its course and I won’t be as curious as last time as I now know it all comes together perfectly.

Cannot recommend Dr Ball and his team enough, and they are always checking up on you to make sure you are fine.

A minoxidil tablet for a year. I am not sure of the results of that, the first transplant I had was an absolute game changer

Looks great.
We are in the same situation,high norwood,appropriate mature hairline etc.
Ive just had my crown done although a lot larger area to cover than yours.
Look forward to your results.

I have the numbers written down somewhere, but I do have enough to soften the crown if I wanted to go again.

Dr Ball though is unsure if it will be needed as he said he managed to cover more area than he initially thought based on my type of hair.

I’m using a topical solution too, to stop further decline, but he said my sides are strong and so any potential future loss may come from below my crown.

The big news for me is that at this clinic the journey is discussed, it’s not just about having a transplant and off you go.

1700 this time, so I’ve had around 3700 in total.

You get a different feel with regards the second transplant, you just crack on and don’t monitor it like I did the first one.

Incredibly easy process and so happy how it’s going.

You have to look at where I started off, it was like mission impossible but Dr Ball managed to get a great result.

Yes you have to pick the right Doctor. I did my research and there was clear evidence of patients being extremely happy with Dr Ball. The testimonials were the reason I chose to see him.

Yup, when you have been through it already it is usually a breeze next time.
Those 1700 grafts should make a very nice difference.
