Yea, he has definitely stopped using concealer in the last few weeks. It's raining in that picture, so he's probably looking at his worst in regards to his hair, but its still pretty decent looking.
He probably only got 2-3000 grafts, so considering how little hair on top he had to begin with, I think it's looking quite good.

A negative to this though, in my opinion, is the publicity generated by his transplant will see the number of balding guys in their early twenties rushing down to their local clinic , rise substantially.

Seeing as though Wayne made his HT public, maybe some before and after pictures from his clinic would be most beneficial.

you know I came home from sea and it was my Wife who told me about Wayne Rooney and some other celebrity having a HT and the cost, basically i knew nothing about HT then I started to do some research which lead me to having a HT , we all know what its like to look in the mirror and that feeling and the normal were is the baseball cap
Wayne Rooney is young enough to have another procedure and the meds are their as well he looks so much better as for money well their is only so much Donar in the bank

I €™m not much of a football fan but I did watch the game between Italy and England as my Dad had the game on. Too bad England lost was hoping they would get the win for no particular reason. Watched the shootout and the concealer in Rooney €™s hair seemed to be very heavy and obvious when he bended over for a few seconds.

The dead give away with concealer is the contrast between flatness or the matte finish it leaves on the hair where it is applied and the contrast of the natural highlights of the hair where it is not applied. I have found the best way to apply concealer is to use a spray type concealer applying it only to the scalp with the hair wet. If you have a fairly good amount of hair you might even want to wipe it gently off any strands while not rubbing the scalp. What this does is eliminate the reflection of light off the scalp while still allowing the remaining hair to have its natural highlights which I have found to be less conspicuous.

Also with the Rooney h.t it still proves that there will always be a stigma over any form of hair replacement . The tabloids using the word weave and not making the difference between the two shows that male pattern baldness is still open game when it comes to taking the piss . I feel you are kidding yourself if you think that by a high profile celebrity having a h.t it will break down doors you will be mistaken.

I agree with bm this summer he should have round 2 since there is no international football, his hair looks better short, his comb over thing is cringe worthy!

If im honest ive gotta say i dont think his ht is that great, to me it looks very thin and whispy. Ive been within touching distance of him aswell when i went to the spurs v utd game in january. I was sat on what is known as the shelfside witch as a stand that runs along the side line and i was in the front row. He came over to fetch the ball for a throw in. I did look at his head, and to me it looked caked in concealer. It also looked very thin as it was snowing heavily. Ive also noticed that when games start his hair looks thick but towards the end of games his hair looks to get thinner and thinner. I also believe he has lost a lot of his native hair throughout the year aswell. Regarding him having another op, he may not have the donor for another 2500, because to me it does look very thin. I dont think we will know what his hair looks like without concealer as he now uses it all the time and i would expect him to carry on using it forever now. Funny, really because i bet when he went for HT, he didnt think he would be wearing that in his hair.

If he dyed his hair darker and used a dark brown/black spray concealor his hair would look better and more natural after using concealor. A lot of people underestimate how much dye can create a thicker appearance, particulary if you have lots of transparent/colourless hairs. Works wonders for me.

Rooney should go to bhr and get a mix of scalp and beard fue, then temp smp in milan after..i wonder if he reads this forum???

I'de be interested to see it now without concealer. He's clearly caked in concealer in public.

I believe he was a photographed a couple of times without concealer last year and it was very see through and thin.
