Yeah i must admit im a little shocked at how thin that looks too. Mars i agree with your plan he should have gone with the ht/bht then temp smp route

Watching the footie here today. Rooney looks to be seriously thinning around the crown and the mid scalp just in front of the crown. Or he hasnt applied his normaly bucket load of concealer.
Its quite obvious today the parts he has the concealer in and his thinning looks to be progressing.

Yep agreed.. Wayne Rooneys HT looks very thin now, I mean it could be an unflattering photo, but still..! The camera never lies as they say. He should definitely go back and consult someone about this!

You can definitely be sure that his competition on the field will throw out the occasional taunt and possibly throw off his game completely. This is the greatest risk of all when considering a hair transplant and often why many move on as it is embarrassing and they often feel a sense of shame as they were fooled by those whose only goals was to take their money.
Wayen Rooney can t move on or hide so it will be interesting to watch how it all plays out.

I think he will go down the SMP route soon if his loss keeps progressing at speed.

I say he doesn't go down the smp route and just licks his wounds by shaving his head completely.
I think he will come to the realization that his career is more important but that is just a guess. Let's just sit back and watch what happens.

Maybe he should just get a tattoo and tell everyone it is stubble.
The problem is that he didn t come out and say he was using concealer. Many young guys not knowing any better look up to him and may have followed his footsteps. The ethical thing for him to have done was to state that he was using concealer so that these young guys could give it some more thought armed with that information. Unless I have misunderstood and he has made this disclosure. Maybe the rep for that particular clinic told him that making this disclosure wasn t necessary.
Dr Raghu Reddy, of London s Private Clinic of Harley Street, said: The fact that high profile individuals such as Wayne Rooney have been open about having treatment, and that people can see the natural looking results for themselves has undoubtedly contributed to the increased interest in the treatment.
There are no signs of demand for the treatment slowing either.
According to the Harley Street clinic, five times as many men in Yorkshire booked the procedure in 2011 compared to the previous year and there was also an increase in Manchester, with six times as many hair transplants carried out compared to 2010.
Celebrities such as Louis Walsh and Gordon Ramsay have also had the operation.
Shami Thomas, of surgery firm Transform who published the data, added: It s very common to see an influx of enquiries after celebrities reveal their treatments. This was definitely the case after Rooney s op.

i know its easy to say but look at him before, he was never a good HT candidate, especially FUE, all the hype about his op was obviously marketing now, reality is they spread whatever hair they did plant.
Personally I hope he (Rooney) is ok with it and not going through sh!t, thinking he made a good choice, obviously he did not, and leaving ManU, he must be gutted

That spike of 5 times the amount of men signing up for a procedure after seeing Rooney s result. How many knew exactly what they were looking at? How many knew what concealer was and did anyone care to tell them meaning the clinic? This is how many in the HT industry operate hiding information that would rather not have you know. If he was just a forum patient he would have just disappeared, claimed not to have time to post the result just too busy or if pressed maybe he would have posted blurry photos and not have much to say.....poof gone. Rooney s situation is different as he seems to be in the spotlight so eventually the truth will surface and people will want to know what happened.
Hopefully those that jumped in after seeing Rooney s result came out okay but for those that didn t that is how it works. What I still don t understand is how a clinic that does business this way thinks it s a good long term plan.
I e-mailed the clinic and asked if prospective patients were advised that Rooney was using concealer when they showcased his result during the consultation as I didn t see that mentioned in any of the press releases. I m hoping for a reply.

well said, his result was never meant for forums, it was always going to get on them, but it was to get those before they find forums, "joe punter". The owner of the clinic or at least front person has had a transplant so it would be decent to hope he would not deceive others.

You are spot on topcat, its exactly the same as the Jason Gardener situation on This Morning. He sat there on the couch with Dr Ziering saying how great his HT was both knowing his head was caked in concelaer. They didnt mention that at all. Its not right.

Who knows maybe it doesnt bother him having to wear it but i suspect it does because he seems to be spotted wearing not enough or nothing at all. If he does have another HT which im not sure he has the donor, it may well be this summer. Next summer is the world cup so he cant do it at the end of next season, so its either now or in 2 summers time. If he is to have it done this summer it will be in a few weeks time, due to being ready for pre season training.

Viewed this guy playing soccer, his hair looked ok. He was quite an advanced NW level looking at his earlier pictures on this thread, probably wears some sort on concealer at times which is quite normal.
