Looks great... Have you ever tried to wear it short? Should be able to now, with the increased density...

Congrats @loui, you must be very happy with that.

I didn't think it looked too bad before but this improvement is next level :)

I prefer to have it a little bit longer because my temples stand out cut too short.

Thanks again :)

Yup, it was not terrible but mostly I think in harsh lighting it looked really weak. It should look as strong as my native by 12 months now.

@loui are you satisfied with the number of grafts you got from Dr. Michalis? Do you think it was the right amount? And congrats to the 5 month result!

Yes he wanted to do a couple hundred more but I told him I did not want to extract as many as he first proposed as I need to becareful and save as many grafts as possible, I think he said 1500 but I wanted 1000 so we choose something inbetween.

I think it was the sweetspot as I am pretty happy already and it is still very early at just 5 months. If something I probably could have done less, it is important to save grafts.

Thanks :)

Looking very good at 5 months. I think it was a good call going for the lesser number of grafts and preserving the donor for future if needed.
I think a lot of guys would be happy with this growth right now. Still plenty more to follow.
Thanks for the update.

Thanks guys, I will keep updating at 6 months next time and do it monthly.

I would say it is a little bit less dense at the moment if I compare it to my native hair that was about 65-70 grafts per cm2. I would say it is probably around 50 grafts per cm2 at the moment, hopefully another 10 grafts per cm2 ready soon to start sprouting.

We also need to take into account that the hair in the newly sprouted grafts is very thin and wiry like it always is at this stage, at 12 months the maturation will show a great amount of thickness aswell.

Once your new hairs do mature the density will increase. I’d say you’ll get more new growth as well. I’ll look forward to your next update.

Are you satisfied with the result so far? The density has definitely increased from before the surgery with Michalis and after, right?
