Hi All. Just sticking up an update, pics are bang on 9 months. I met Dr Bisanga & Steve recently which was great to catch up again. Dr B was running a bit late so got to have a great chat at length with Steve so was great to pick his brains on everything hair related. Steve is also big in to martial arts and i also have studied over the years. So Steve showed me a couple of moves in which hes lost none of his skill!!
Steve is truely the most unhard sell and knowledable rep ive dealt with which is very refreshing in this industry.
Dr B inspected the work and also gave me a consult ahead of a proposed 2nd op in which i would look to close temple angles slightly perhaps and bulk up top of scalp towards crown a little bit. I wont look at this until next year at least to ensure everything has matured.
Dr B looked at the small thin area mid scalp and straight away said if required he will touch that up at no extra cost with couple of hundred grafts if needed. Im hoping that it may not even be required as i can see thin wispy hair breaking through there. Im hoping it will fill in to match the front after the full maturation process. But this is precisely the reason i went with BHR. Fantastic clinic who stand by the work. I cannot recommend them highly enough from my experience. I will re assess everything from 12-15 months and make my future plans from there.
Anyway ill keep updating every month or 2 as ive gotten quite a few PM's on here from people who have said the thread is useful. So hopefully its helped people along. Im still buzzing my hair down as its so handy but also it keeps the new hair coming in even with the more matured hair.
I really recommend buzzing for the first year for people getting FUE done. You keep it all the same length as the growth comes in until its fairly even. It also make things less noticeable in the early months after surgery.
All the best.
