2ND DAY POST OPP FUE EYEBROW TRANSPLANT UK

Hi,


I hope everyone is well.


I am on day 2 of my eyebrow transplant and I am gutted.


An impression was taken and the surgeons did not follow this.


I did not request for the surgeons to transplant in between and around my existing hairs and they have done this.

Will this damage my native hairs?


I have heard horror stories about shock loss.


I know it is early days, but does this look like a botch job?

Your existing hair should be ok if you went to a competent doctor. It looks as though the whole eyebrow areas were transplanted. How many grafts did they use? A before and immediate post-op picture would be helpful.

I am awaiting confirmation of the graft amounts they used.

Please find attached a before photo, post opp photo (on the day) and a photo from today.

I am nervous as I am on day 3, washed my hair and the scabs are black.

Does this look like necrosis to you?

No, it’s not necrosis. Just bloodied dry scabbing.
Your eyebrows look ok before surgery. Why did you want more adding? I see your grafts sitting on your brow waiting. It is unusual for them to be sitting there. I hope they were kept hydrated.

What makes you think it is different to Necrosis?

I only wanted to add to the head and to go over my scar, this was included in the impression.

The surgeons transplanted my entire eyebrows.

This is why I am currently nervous for the recovery of the native hairs.

Necrosis won’t show a few days after surgery. This looks like ordinary scabbing.

I washed this area today and it has bled and a scab come off.

I could see hair in the area.

Does a Necrosis bleed?
