Hey guys

I thought I would give a bit of an update. I am 5 weeks and 3 days out of the procedure now. This is one of the hardest times as nearly all the newly transplanted hairs have fallen out and my existing hair is still pretty short from the shaving so harder for me to cover up my previous bad work.

Anyways, the recovery process was a breeze. I had very little swelling. The pinkness is fading (it looks worse in the pictures then it actually is). It is now just a waiting game.

All the best,

SR

Hi Stingray

Glad all well. Aloe vera will help also with the pinkness but as you say it fades continually, some quicker than others. It is a waiting game but looking forward to the updates.

MSM will help speed up natural hair growth so might be worth looking at also.

Glad your recovery was a breeze and the redness is not too bad imo. Bummer when the grafts shed but thids time next year i`m pretty sure you`ll be happy.

Cheers bm.

I had a lot of redness last time (up to 5 months) with my Armani procedure. I think I have pretty sensitive skin.

The redness has been much much better this time. With a bit of concealer I can go out without it looking too bad though I am pretty happy hiding under a cap till my hair grows out a bit longer. One of the advantages of being a student :::C

I mainly use dermatch but I sometimes use a bit of toppik. It kind of depends how long my hair is at the time. If my hair is longer the toppik works better as there is more hair for it to cling on to.

My thoughts exactly Stingray, the Toppik/Nanogen is good for slightly longer hair and Dermmatch is good for shorter hair.

Hi guys

I am at 2 months today. My hair is pretty much back to the length it was before so I am just about able to go out hatless with sufficient concealer.

Obviously at 2 months nothing to report yet apart from the odd pimple. Redness is pretty much gone though perhaps ever so slightly pink still.

Just waiting now.... _B:

Hey guys

I am 5 days short of 3 months but am going travelling for a month on Wednesday so thought I would take the opportunity for a quick update now.

Things are just starting to happen which is exciting but obviously at under 3 months it is only the very start. Noticing new sprouts and very fine hairs which the camera doesn't pick up. I am looking forward to seeing how it progresses over the next few months.

The first pic is with wet hair, straight out of the shower. All the others are with dry hair. I have brushed my hair back to expose the hairline for the temple shots but obviously don't wear my hair like that.

Hope to have more exciting shots for you next month...

Hey guys

I'm back from my month in Central America just in time for my month 4 photos. Had an amazing time and was delighted that my hair was improving on a daily basis also. The hairline has really improved and you can clearly see a difference in density between the area that Dr Bisanga worked on and the area just behind that we are leaving to do a bit later. It is all very encouraging.

The first 3 pics are with very wet hair...

All the rest are with dry hair.... no product at all.

Looking forward to seeing the hairline thicken up over the coming months.

Any questions/comments are welcome as always.

Wow-great photos. Definitely gives a great representation of how things are progressing. Give it another 4 months and you will see things blend so much better into the native hair. Thanks for the pics.
