Hi Janna,

I will be booking my 2nd procedure for next year as I want to give my scalp more time to heal and get a bit more laxity etc.
What is the game plan for me? I am sure Sir Ron siad we had 2000-2500 more grafts in the bank.I am still more concerned with the front though and would like to close off the temples etc.I have also said before that I would prefer to use beard/body hair for most of the crown as I believe I have excellent donor for this and would be willing to be a guinea pig for this if the big man is moving into this area that so many seem to be getting excellent results with.

Hi M,

We were just taking one step at a time - wait for the results of this past surgery then see where you'd like to go. We generally like patients to wait a minimum of 1 year from one surgery to the next. When you are at 10 months post op, you can start the scalp massages to work on laxity. We like the plan of addressing the frontal 1/2 and not worry too much about the crown area.

Here are my 10 month picks, taken after my first proper haircut and trim for 18 years! lol...can you believe that?...a very surreal experience but a nice one to, got my lil' sis' to do it as she is a hairdresser but will go to a walk in sit down salon next time:::C I am going to grow the top out now leading into my 12 month picks.

Sorry about the poor lighting on the last one,blocked the light out with the camera!For my 12 months with full SMG trip write up, I will get my good lady to do them and add some outdoor shots etc .
Sometimes my hair, looks thinner/thicker week to week, could this be shedding? I am still taking 1mg Propecia (pro scar)Mon-Fri and 0.5 ml Minox'4% once a day also Mon-Fri.
Still a couple of months to go but when I go back and look at my pro-op picks,when I am nit picking and thinking my new thatch is looking thinner,it always brings me back to reality and puts a smile on my face!:::C
I will grow the top out for the next 2 months and beyond-but get the feeling I may not get/see the full extent/results of the amazing work Sir Ron and his awesome team have done, with so few grafts of a poor caliber till 18 months.I am thrilled as all I wanted was a natural looking result and I struggle to see the old work, I have to be really critical to spot it and I am still a work in progress! lol
Janna has always said 2 visits but I think and have always felt 3 to get me where I want to be.I am still thinking a second pass through the frontal 3rd/half to increase density(not sure what density was planted at.....Janna!!lol)Looking to attach/blend the sides with more density there-maybe widen-round off and thicken the front which has always been a priority over the back.Think a 3rd session depending on Donor Laxity and yield etc would be aimed at the crown, if I can talk Sir Ron into using by lush beard and Body hair for this, then that may leave me with more in the bank, in case of future loss, or we go for this later if that happens.
