Need to check with the airline and see what I can and can't take on board with me etc.Last time I went anything in a tube/non see through container was banned-so could be buying my toiletries when I touch down in the USA.

I believe you can carry 3 - (3oz bottles or less) toiletry items in your carry-on luggage. The hotel carries shampoos/conditioners and body soap. They even have tubes of toothpaste upon request. We'll provide ice packs and other items you need post op. Country Inn also has microwave and small fridge for your room at a small charge if you are interested. It's $10 per night for both appliances.

It's not long now. I hope the weather picks up a bit. Snow and 30 degree weather is too much even for us heartly Minnesotans in middle of October. Grrrr, I need to move.

You can buy carry on any size liquid that is bought in the depature lounge once you go through security checks which is what I did recently from Gatwick. The variety of shops Depends on how big your airport is.

Thanks again-guys I am not expecting miracles just a natural looking head of hair in keeping with my age-bone structure etc.I know I am in the best hands in the business so will listen to what Sir Ron suggests when we have are pre op' talk.
The only thing I am hoping for is that during the strip procedure-we can excise some of the old scars-that would really make my hair-day!:::C

Wow, that's amazing how much the top of your heads look alike. I've corrected our charts to make sure you both have your own pictures in it. Sorry about that.

Update on Masher: Masher has stopped by for last hair wash and hair cut before he heads to the airport. He is cheery and chippper as usual and plans on composing a write up about his experience. I will be sending his before and immediate post op pictures in the next day or so. It was a pleasure having Masher here, he's a real charmer and won the whole staff over. We wish him well and look forward to following his progress. Best wishes!

Just a quick post to say thanks for your support guys ;)
To the wonderful Janna what can I say other than the most heartfelt thankyou, you are an amazing lady...reminds me of that song....'reet..petite the finest girl your ever.....yep we all know how it goes!
Things are looking good-really clean and mending nicely-I wouldn't mind just having a crew cut like it is to be honest and I love it already! lol
I would like to say a mahoooosive thankyou to all the staff at SMG.I am an amiable outgoing dude I guess, if I had to describe myself but i have never ever walked into a strange environment on my own thousands of miles away from home and felt more at ease with a group of people I have never met before. So in no particular order thanks to - Jen on reception-the enigmatic Mr Dal..My American sister Vicki ;) Erin and Kelly-Pamela the best hairdresser in MP...Tiffany and Shelli-Silvia-Tom and Gwen. ...the sweetest 'Song' and Tarzans very own Jane ;)
A special thankyou to Janna and Matt for your help and guidance leading up to and during my stay and of course to the man himself Sir Ron.....get that back pack on dude and go exploring ;)This has to be the greatest team ever assembled when it comes to quality surgery/care-skill and teamwork running like a well oiled machine its impossible to better this crew end of.
Thanks to all of you for making me feel so at home and welcome and I am so glad that Sir Ron elected hair surgery instead of hairdressing .......although I think he may have a little Sioux Indian in there somewhere judging by the scalping he gave me!! LOL )(_::
So there you go, I will be putting a full report together on my journey in the next few days and then posting 3-4 monthly progress reports as I feel weekly is just way to much for very little visible progress.
If anyone out there wants to talk or ask advice about there own situation etc please feel free to PM me or ask away on here.I will be glad to help and guide in any way I can.
Speak soon dudes,...oh yeh...couldn't find the photos Janna was referring to in the gallery section unless I am navigating it wrong which would not surprise me! LOL

Masher really enjoyed the massage. Were you able to find one before you left or were you too busy at the golf shop? Maybe next time you're here, I'll have one located ahead of time for you.

Nope, I never ended up finding one but will search the net and locate one and I can identify it from the picky now so thanks Janna.Think I was jocking around with Vikki when that picture was taken-we had a good laugh it was a great day at SMG I loved it.....shame I will miss the Xmas party I bet that would be a blast! lol
Never got to a golf shop for Connor either-but when I got home he was in a tournament and shot 1 under gross breaking par for the first time at 15 years old...so as an aspiring pro-golfer that is a huge milestone for him and a big monkey off his back.Like any barrier you break in sport once you have put it to bed you then move on to the next level-so I am really chuffed for him.All in all a top banana week for the Masher clan I'd say!

Speak soon ;)

That's great about your son. All the best to him and hope he achieves his goals.

The massager is called Thumper - Minipro 2. Ours were purchased at Sharper Image and Brookstone. I'm sure if you googled back massager or thumper you'd get ton of places that will take your order.

Cheers ;)

Just a quick update-all the scabs have gone now and tension along the scar is easing off and seems to be healing well.I left it 7 days though before I used the shower on it as apposed to 5! LOL
No shedding as yet and not looking forward to that part will post up picks ASAP but have been flat out with businesses and my wife who is in hospital undergoing major back surgery-all went well and she is on the mend but hectic times!LOL

Mash
Where is the best place to purchase Minoxidil foam from? SMG recommend this and are convinced it helps the grafts and works better than just pro-scar on its own for the crown-so thought I would use it once a day.Loving my peach fuzz and will have stitches out in the next 4 days currently at 10 days post op and other than a cold I am feeling good.

Also there is a mineral I need to purchase to as I recall save me trawling to find it out can someone enlighten me or drop a link in as to what it is-I believe H+B stock it may have been magnesium or a derivative of?
Convinced I got my cold from having to stop taking vit-c-b-compex and Zinc before my op' LOL Planes are terrible for spreading germs not like you can open the window and get some fresh air either!;)
