It looks like you`ve healed well. Those last few lingering scabs will come off in their own time. Try letting the shampoo soak in for ten minutes before massaging and washing off. Any hairs attached to scabs at this stage is nothing to worry about, it`s all part and parcel of the healing process.
Looking at your transplanted hairline gives you a feel good factor of knowing what's to come.
Thanks BigMac. It’s made me look forward to a full buzz cut if the hairline looks like it does now in 6-9 months time!

It's quite amazing how much a hairline can transform your looks. Once it's grown out, you'll have various styling options.

How many people would you say don’t shed/have minimal shedding? Trying to give myself some PMA that I may be one of the lucky ones!

That’s a tough one but at a guess I’d say 3-5% tops.

Hi, I've seen lots of good stuff about Dr Arshad and I'm considering him over going to Turkey. I'm wondering how much you paid him for your treatments. Thanks

The Hair Dr charge £3 per graft.

I look forward to seeing your progress TopDog23, it looks like you'll have great coverage judging by the distribution.

Thank you! I’m really pleased, although just wish I’d have shaved the lot now. Dr Arshad was of the view that if I went for 2,500 the likelihood was that I would not need another as he could take enough from the donor to pack tightly.

It’s exciting to think about not having to worry about the wind etc if I get a good result. Fingers crossed, although it really couldn’t have gone smoother (apart from the mild panic about the swelling causing the ear to stick out ).

Day 21

There’s been a bit of shedding although not too bad. Donor looks a bit patchy under the flash although otherwise ok and not noticeable (I don’t think).

All looks good for 21 days. Sometimes when the donor has some shock loss it can take a little while to fully recover.

Shedding is all part of the healing process. Now it`s just the waiting game but time soon passes.

Week 5

Feels like the shedding is pretty much done. The aloe vera spray has worked wonders on the redness. Now it’s the waiting game!

The redness seems to have gone or is hardly noticeable. Donor looks back to normal.
Good to hear the Aloe helped.
Where did you get the spray and what type of Aloe spray was it?

Thanks for confirming and the picture. I can see the spray being a better option if you still have hair in the recipient area or when it begins to grow.

Week 6

No shedding this week and whilst it doesn’t look it, the transplanted areas feel like there’s lots of hair there. Donor completely back to normal.

Also, had a zoom meeting where I couldn’t wear a hat. A comb forward and fibres make it look passable from afar!

Biggest regret is not just shaving it all off. The thought of it terrified me.

That looks pretty convincing to me, there's definitely an art to covering thinning areas.

Out of interest, why are you regretting not shaving completely? I'm hoping to have a partial shave so would be interested to know your experience regarding this.
