Yup, your pics are awesome! Your result is looking awesome too. The documentation couldn't be better. Thanks for doing such a wonderful and consistent job of posting.

I forgot to ask, are you coloring your hair? It's looking darker or more salt and peppery than previous months. It' may be darker just from the fact that you have more hair on top. I love that you can have the little flip at the hairline now. Bet you're looking 10 years younger.

May have to start a video montage of your progress since you have a lot of pics available.

Hey Janna.....thanks. Very excited and happy to post. My experience with you guys was so positive I am happy to put it out there for other potential patients to see. I am using Just for Men Touch of Grey (light brown), which I really like because it puts some color in but blends it with the grey so it looks really natural. I hope to get up your way in the next few months and will schedule an appointment when I can make my plans. I have to admit, "hair greed" is already setting in. ;) Also, I am more than happy to speak to or meet with any potential new patients if you guys ever want or need that. I hope all is well with the SMG team and Happy Holidays to all of you!

Be happy to see you anytime. "Hair greed" is common, especially when patients know the process is easier than expected and there isn't any anxiety about having this procedure done again. We'll certainly evaluate if it's appropriate to get another procedure.

Thanks for the offer to speak to potential patients. You know when researching clinics that speaking with former patients is an integral part of the process so we really appreciate your gesture.

Happy holidays to you too from all of us at SMG

Thanks Bigmac!

Here are my 7 month update photos.....slightly different style. Continue to see some thickening, but only subtle change over the past month. I have seen greater change in the crown over the last month which makes sense given the slower growth in that area. I will be going to SMG for a check up in a couple of weeks and will post photos taken there as well.

Hairstyle is still looking good, good to hear the crown is coming along now as they do tend to lag behind a bit.

When you visit SMG it would be great if you could ask them to do side by side comparison pictures from your pre op to present day so the change can be seen.

Cheers Bm.

I had the chance to visit SMG this week and it was great to see everyone and talk to Matt, Janna and Dr. Ron about my results. Being there reminded me of why I love recommending SMG.....they are all just great people and their work speaks for itself. Very happy with my result....it was everything I expected and more......and I am still just at 7.5 months. When I look at the before pics, it reminds me that I did not have a hairline at all before my HT!!

I did talk about having another procedure. Based on how satisfied I am, I think I want to do a little more. I don't want to do anything to the hairline itself because I could not ask for it to be any better and more natural. I would like to bring the corners out a little bit and Dr. Ron felt that I could do that as well as thicken up a couple of areas as well. I will probably schedule something this summer for another 1,500 - 2000 grafts. I will still have plenty for down the road if I need it.

Here are the photos. I had used some grooming cream that day rather than the typical American Crew Fiber, so the hair is a little more clumped together than it usually is.

Orlhair,

Here is the video of your 7.5 month growth, also the donor area is on view. I think we both agree it looks better in person.

Looks great Orlhair.

I agree with both of you on how the results look better in person as the camera/video usually does not show the finer hairs that are there.

Great pictures, also on the video your donor looks as though it has never been touched.

Thanks for the update.

Hey orlhair your hair looks fantastic and as Bigmac says the donor looks untouched, the video is great too.

Hey dude, it's around three months since my surgery, i can feel some small hairs coming through now in places, the doldrums stage has been a killer this time round lol but thankfully it's coming to an end and I am excited for the coming months..... am going to post some pictures this week on my thread buddy.

Thanks for the interest.

Well, I am just a week short of 10 months since my surgery. Thrilled with the results. My scar is almost undetectable. I can't even find it, but Dr. Ron was able to locate it after looking around when I went to see him in Feb. for a check up. I have buzzed my hair down really short (equal to a 2) and not any sign of having a HT. I get a lot of compliments on my hair and people ask what I am doing to look so young for my age. :) I took a few photos this morning and have posted them here. You can see my complete photo documentation from the beginning by clicking on my link below the photos.

I am planning on going back for more (yes, hair greed has set in). I am planning an FUE of 1500 grafts to fill in the corners some and thicken up one or two spots. Not necessary for sure, but something I want to do because round one was such a success. I am going FUE because I have an undetectable scar, so why risk it? I have been very impressed with the FUE work coming out of SMG. I will either have the second surgery in June or July depending on Dr. Ron's schedule.

Hi Orlhair, Looks great! Your result is good as is, but I can understand the desire for more hair. Today is week 8 PO for me and everything is on track time wise. My right side scar still looks rough, if it weren't for many white hairs growing in the area, Id be very concerned. I let Janna know when it grows out long enough to be photographed, I'll update my pics.

Thanks.....appreciate it. I look forward to seeing your updates. As long as you see those hairs growing in the area that looks a little rough, you will be fine. I had areas of my scar that took longer to fully heal than others.
