Long hair FUE or unshaven FUE has been available for several years within the Hair Transplant Industry. It`s an intricate procedure which takes time and skill on the part of your surgeon to select the most healthy hairs, ensuring they are extracted and implanted correctly. This treatment gives patients who are against shaving their head the opportunity to restore their hair in a minimally invasive, effective way.
As with any hair restoration procedure there will be some redness post procedure, however the redness can usually be hidden, leaving little or no evidence of a transplant having taken place.
The size of a long hair or unshaven FUE surgery are limited due to the time constraints involved. 500-1000 grafts transplanted per day are the industry average.
