Necrosis after a hair transplant is a complication that causes death of the scalp tissue resulting in scar tissue with no hair. The area varies in size, sometimes affecting the whole scalp. When it occurs, it`s usually in the recipient area.
Several factors can attribute to Necrosis.
1. Infection
2. Dense packing resulting in restricted blood supply
3. Poor surgical skill
4. Damage to blood vessels
